Hope everyone is having a nice day. Mine was pretty normal though we only had our grandson so we managed to stop for breakfast before church, well Sunday School the church. Grandson helped with audio visual and helped serve communion. He was a bit embarrassed about his clothes because he has suddenly outgrown his dress shirt and forgot to pack his slacks. We may need to take him shopping before next weekend.

Sorry you have the money issues. Rising rent has to be the pits especially since utilities tend to keep going up, too. Glad you're getting out and walking-it's one of the best things we can do and I need to do a LOT more of it. Take care!

I did a lot of walking since Thanksgiving but I get really tired in the afternoon so I take naps but they are late but by the time I go to bed I fall asleep fast.
I don't shop for Christmas anymore cause it takes all my money and I have to save it when I need some food or other things. I'm just like my mom she stopped a long time ago after the grandkids grow up I mean her grandkids. And my rent went up this month so now I have to really watch what I buy for now on and I have to get meds and food but hardly get any clothes for me cause of the money.

It's amazing how the year flies by. I used to be so organized and because my husband made twice the money in the summer as he did winter my Christmas shopping was done by October. Now it's never done until the day before and I feel totally unorganized. How do I get that back????

Wow, we say it every year at this time, where did the year go?? Yup, we're into the last month of 2015 and even though it's the month of "good cheer" with lots of diversions let's still give it our best shot and continue to strive to work toward our healthy living goals - indeed it's the best gift we can give ourselves!!!

Good morning! Hard to believe it's Thanksgiving week with lots of things to do. I've been rather distracted, I guess. In fact, I need to pick my daughter up and take her for her checkup. She should be given permission to drive (like I ever wait for their permission) though since right now they are a one car family she won't have the car all day anyway.

I almost got to celebrate the week in the hospital. After counting money late I was driving Elaine to the bank and home when all of a sudden I had to slam on the brakes because there was a wreck with one car on the island and another on the right curb with another car stopped behind them. The wrecked cars were hard to see for some reason-there should be bright street lights there. I first just saw the car stopped in the middle of the road. Luckily we both missed the wrecked cars but did have to drive through all the pieces on the street which the guys were still trying to kick off to the side. I need to check my tires before leaving. I bet it's the last time Elaine wants to drive with me. I AM at a point where I try to limit my driving in the dark so this is another good reason. emoticon Today I need to stop at the grocery store and pick up the rest of what I need for Thanksgiving dinner.

3rd. First for this daughter. This one is 6 days before her due date. Our middle daughter had one 2 1/2 months early due to a placenta separation and then one 3 1/2 weeks early which is also officially a preemie. Shortly after the second one was born, or just before, her soft spot closed so she had to have surgery to open it up. They are both healthy kids now. He's a high school sophomore in ROTC and she is an A student in 7th grade. They spent most weekends with us because mom works nights.

I will be heading to the hospital soon to meet my new granddaughter. C-section is scheduled for 12:30. I'm all ready with my Grandma shirt. emoticon

emoticon I had a pretty normal Sunday. The outside temps have cooled down so the house is nice and cool. I'll be going to the hospital in the morning to be with DD#3 as she is scheduled for a C-section at 12:30.

That sounds kind of like my leg after a wasp stung me. I was out mowing and thought a rock had somehow hit me in the calf-not sure how that would have happened but... I think it got me when I bumped into the kids' slide but it did turn purple, swollen and hard. Dr said I was lucky I had taken an allergy pill that morning or it would have been even worse.

I'm off the leg for a week. The doc thinks I got some sort of bug bite. My entire right calf is swollen and looks like a bruise all the way around from knee to ankle.

My new dvd's are 3 mile walk away the pounds and 4 mile ultimate power walk!
Did 4 miles today.
Also started following the 21 day facebook challenge.

Cool! New videos are always fun. I did Silver Sneakers this morning and followed that with walking through Babies are Us with my very pregnant daughter who was told to get out and walk so possibly the baby will start getting in place-it's either that or a c-section next week. After that slow walk we had lunch at Olive Garden. I may try going to the gym this evening for water aerobics. I believe there's a class at the location near the house.

It's been a few days since a new post on the Chitter Chatter board, so I thought I'd post!
Got home yesterday and found my new Walk videos waiting for me! I did 3 miles!
Today 1 mile/30 minute burn and tomorrow maybe the new 4 miles.

I have been ill and weak, so I only did a 10 minute walk today. However I was faithful with the good Lord's help in eliminating sugar and refined foods.

Oh, what an exhausting day! Sunday School and church were good but afterwards we had cake for a late celebration of Pastor Appreciation and I had two small slices. My husband then stopped at DQ for lunch. I had the small chicken quesadilla snack plus part of our GD's hot fudge sundae. I just now finished off our almost GD's sundae. This afternoon and evening it was 5 hours of sitting trying to get money counted.Tomorrow I need to get back on track full time and not just in the morning!

Whoever sent the Apple goodie thank you. I have neglected my "walking" with Leslie for some time now. Just thinking I needed to get back to it and lo and behold there on my page was a goodie from this team I signed up for several years ago. Now that is what I call good timing. Why? Because it was the added impetus I needed to put the video on and "go to town'. Sad that I need prodding to get up off the couch where my laptop holds me down emoticon emoticon .but alas that is just one more thing I must learn to be moderate in. Excess gets me in trouble every time. Happy walk'n you all.

November 1 means I now have Medicare for insurance even though my birthday isn't until the 29th. Crazy. It's hard to believe I'm that old already. I really could have used a walk today but spent the entire day sitting- Sunday School, church, lunch, read the paper, back to church to count money and that took forever since we were trying to count both the offering and then the pumpkin patch money. We finally dropped the pumpkin money back in the safe and took the regular offering to the bank so we could get home.

Yeay, it's November! I bought 4 Christmas presents already! LOL!

Can anyone tell me which Walkfit dvd is the most current? Any made in 2014 or 15?
Curious because I'd like to add to my routine after the thirty day is done.
