Hey there everyone!

Right now I am training with ChaLEAN Extreme, it is a circuit training DVD that burns fat and leans your body up and in the first month I lost 5 lbs and 5 inches total body,.. I feel amazing! I have also heard amazing things about Turbo Jam, it is fun, fast and you don't even realize you are working out!

I have a lot of dvd's that I workout to. I switch them around so I am not bored with working out. I checked out two of Jillian Michaels New dvd's at the libr. I did one of them and I am still sore today. I exercised a couple of days ago with it. I used the trouble spot one that day. I haven't done the other one yet. I like Leslie Sansone's walk away the pounds when I am wanting to do some walking with a dvd. I like the Firm series, Slim in six, and a few others too.

I just bought Aerosculpt/jump by Michael Olajide - it's jump rope and toning using body weight and a bar. I haven't done it yet and won't begin until next week. I did watch it and ooh man it looks hard.

I have TBL Bootcamp and think it is good. I also have Jillians 30 day shred. I really like that one too. At the moment I do the Gilad's Workouts that I recorded on my DVR.

I got the Core Rhythms DVD's for my birhtday last month and love them! Me and my BFF are going to go in dutch on more. Did the Yoga Booty Ballet and I don't like them much. Did Tae bo for a few years but they get old, at least to me.

I love working out at home!! Some of the DVD's I have are pricey, but when I think about how long I have had them they are dirt cheap. I love step aerobics, I have quite a few: Reebok Dance Step led by Petra Kolber(VHS)--it is so old I pray it makes it through another playing!! I have tried to find these on DVD, but alas no luck.
I also have Intense Moves by Reebok with Gin Miller and a Kathy Kaehler step DVD, she is really good.
I also love Kickboxing, am working on my collection of those type workouts.
I have a bizillion Gilad workouts (his newer stuff, not the bodies in motion) on my DVR.

My new favorites are the P90X extreme home fitness DVD, pricey but the results potential is amazing.

I also would love to do Cathe Fredich, but I tried to do a step workout and feel on my face in the process!! She seems very complicated, but will try again. I also have a Core Max on my DVR that I am working in to my rotation.

Keep pushing play!

I LOVE Leslie Sansone's WALK AWAY THE POUNDS but I haven't used my DVDs in a while. I need to get into a routine and I just haven't found that particular "spark" yet. I'm just trying to get the "diet" aspect down first, then I'll combine.

I have tried TAEBO, but it's hard on my bad wrists and we no longer have VHS-friendly equip

I have a Vinyasa Yoga DVD coming in the mail! Talk about high calorie burn...

WORKOUT with Jackie Warner (from that TV show) is a great DVD. She kicks your butt and I'm saving it for a plateau...

I need some serious work on my abs, i'm completely out of shape and i honestly dont think i've done a crunch in a few years(yes its terrible, i'm new and just getting back into things). So, what do you all recommend for ab workouts on dvd? i recently bought a body all and it comes with an ab video, i think i might need something a bit more challenge and to change things up once in awhile.

I just got Jillian's the biggest winner set. anyone tried it? its a two dvd set one for front body and one for the back body. its really intense!! But I think Im going to like it. you need a step and hand weights for it. I have the weights, have to get the step. if anyone has done this one...how do you track it? under circuit training?

Leslie's Walk Slim Series is really good! It's for Intermediate through Advanced and offers modifications for the higher impact moves.

Walk Slim has 4 DVDs:
2 Fast Miles
3 Fast Miles
4 Fast Miles
4 Really Big Miles

I don't have any of the Yoga Booty Ballet DVDs though.

I just bought another 10 DVDs so now my collection is well over 250!!! I love variety!

It's been awhile since I used Walk Away the Pounds but you should be able to start with the 2 mile walk one - I remember it being pretty good. You might find the 1 mile one too easy. The 3 mile walk is also good. I'd start with the 2 mile one and see how that goes.

I don't have the Yoga Booty Ballet workouts (probably the one of the only BeachBody ones I don't have) for the same reason. It looks like it could be fun but it looks a little too cheesy for me.

Hi there! I'm new here and wanted to ask a question. It is Spring which means tons of rain and I'm looking for a home workout video. I've heard really good things about Walk Away the Pounds. There are several videos to choose from though. I have started walking the last few months so I do not think I need to start at the beginner level. What do you think the level 2 video would be? There is not really a suggested order on the videos that I can find. Any help is much appreciated.

Another video that was suggested was the Yoga Booty Ballet. Any opinions on this? I watched a few minutes on youtube and it looks like the cheesiness would be a bit much for me.

Thanks again!

I'm going to retrack my prior statement about Turbo Jam. Yes, I am eating my own words. I decided to give it one more try and I love it! Now with that said, Cathe's Kickboxing is still the go-to DVD for the truest form of Kickbox. TJ is fun and dancy and it's nice to have a change in pace. When I did it last yr, I had a lot of core pain and since Phys Ther, I am actually able to do these DVDs and enjoy them.

So I'm a TJ user and as of next week, will be trying out Zumba at a local Dance Studio! If I really like it, I may invest in the DVDs, but the studio sounds like it's more fun!

I just started doing the 10 minute trainer videos by Tony Horton and boy did they own me! I am trying to follow the getting started guideline which shows you what workouts to do each day(They recommend 3/day with 1 day off to do 1, mainly the Yoga Flex). The ab one I found extremely difficult because it's all mainly done on the floor (which I hate). Otherwise I really felt the burn and was sweating like crazy. I've never seen my face so red before! I'm hoping to stick with it and see what kind of results I can get. Anyone else have any comments about this workout?

Remember to just do the modifications if you have knee problems -- she shows you how to make it easier, and it's still a good workout.

I just got Turbo Jam today. I put it in and did the 1'st part, partially. I think it will take a few times to get all the moves right. Especially when they start combining them. I was sweating in less than ten minutes! I think it's gonna be hard on the knees. emoticon

thanks for the info. I did one of her cardio blasts on fit tv the other day and I was sweating in a few minutes!!! And I actually liked it. Her routine isn't that hard to follow either. I'm gonna start to DVR her show when it's on. I think she's on weekdays at 11 am and later on in the evening. But i'll probably look into her dvd's.

The best Kickboxing DVDs have to be by Cathe Friedrich!!!

www.cathe.com

Although I buy mine at eBay or elsewhere bc her site is expensive!

I have a personal bias against kickboxing, so it's hard to find a DVD that impresses me! I used to compete within the sport yrs ago, so I naturally prefer the more serious styles of cardio kickboxing that also focus on technique not just flopping and hoping around. Cathe so far, is the only instructor that kicks your butt, while focusing on proper technique and style. Turbo Jam and Tae Bo are a dancier version of kickboxing, so it to me, gets annoying very quickly.

You can't go wrong with her! She kicks your butt and your butt will thank you!

I rotate as well. BL power cardio and power sculpt, Denise Austin boot camp, CRUNCH videos and Leslie Sansone. I was thinking about getting ABFIT but not sure. Does anyone else have that one and if so do you like it? I also wondered if there was any good kickboxing videos out besides TAEBO.

I have to get back on the Turbo train! A few years ago, I lost about 10 lbs doing Turbo Jam, Slim in 6, and Jari Love's weight DVDs.

Is "30 Day Shred" high impact? Does it take a lot of coordination? I'm a total klutz emoticon

It sounds like 30 day shred is a winner? I love Jillian, and I have one of her videos... Biggest Winner - Backside, I believe it is... And I can hardly get through the warm-up because I am in such bad shape! Is the 30 day shred difficult as well?

Christi Taylor - all of 'em - are my absolute favorites. But since the birth of my second child, time has been the essence. So I've stocked up on 25-45 minute stuff - circuits mostly. So I love 30 DAy shred, your best body circuit, and I have a jump rope one that really BURNS!

I have about sixty (60) different DVDs. In addition to ALL the Leslie Sansone walks (she got me started on at-home workout awesomeness), I also do Billy Blanks' Tae Bo, the Biggest Loser Workouts, 30-Day Shred, Turbo Jam, and several other "miscellaneous" ones.

On my blog www.caitsweight.blogspot.com, there is a list of all the ones I do; each one is a link to Amazon so you can read the reviews of the workouts.

I LOVE working out at home!!

Girl, it is AWESOME!! They have it split up into I believe 5 10min sections.
-Blast off Belly Fat Fast (includes a little aerobic type stuff, like squats, and arm punches, then some ab work standing up)
-Pilates for Abs (has awesome Pilates moves that you *will* see results with after about 2 weeks)
-Ripped Abs (really tough, but I keep trying to do every exercise...ha!)

Can't remember the names of the other ones...I usually try to do 3 10min ones at least 4 times a week. I saw results after 1 week. BUT you MUST do cardio too. Even just a 30min walk.

She is a good instructor too--not annoying or full of herself. ;)

Hope this helps!

I have a variety of yoga videos (Rodney Ye, Denise Austin, recently got a mix of others) and Jillian Michales 30 day shred. I've noticed results with the shred and it has been fun to do the workouts with my son. He actually tells me everyday - "Mommy, Jillian girlfriend, Jillian girlfriend!" Did I mention he has a crush? Scary, since he's only 3 years old.

Also, I've seen Barry Boot Camp on Amazon.com also (I have it on my wish list - the holiday season will soon be upon us).

I have Jillian Michaels' 30 Day Shred and TaeBo Cardio Circuit. I use them at least twice a week. I also recently got "S.W.A.T. Extreme Weight Loss and Fat Burning" which I'm totally meh about. Finally, I have some older Firm videos (like late 90s/early 2000s) that I got off eBay since they whipped me in shape all those years ago, but I'm not using them right now. They're Standing Legs, Tough Tape 2, Vol 4: Time Crunch workout. I should try one this weekend.

I looked up Barry's Boot Camp-- and couldn't find it on Netflix. Does it go by another name?

I've been doing 10 min Target Solution & 10 Min Blast off Belly Fat. Loosing inches with those doing them at least 3x a week.

Please let me know about the Barry's--and that is awesome about your dress!!

Barry's Boot Camp!
I have Winsor Pilates, Tae Bo and an Ab workout but for the last 18 days I've been doing Barry's and have already seen results!
I bought a dress a size too small and couldn't take it back. Last night I wore a dress to Bible Study and it fit like a glove. I was so excited. I can't wait to see my results in 30 days!
