Good morning everyone. After a week or so of really rough days, I finally made the decision to put an end to spending time trying to help a friend who is ill. I'm neglecting my own home and garden, while making sure her's is spotless, and her gardens are weeded and watered.
I wouldn't mind spending time helping her, but for her constantly negative comments, and her resentment because, according to her, my health is perfect, despite the fact that most days it takes me at least two hours to get my joints moving enough to actually do anything, thanks to osteoarthritis and degenerative disc disorder which affects my entire body, and she knows this.

Finally I've somehow found the courage to put myself first for once.

My exercise routine just went down the drain. I dislocated my hip and my left leg is immobilized. Exercising is limited to walking (slowing, with a straight left leg) and upper body workout (no twisting) until the doctor figures out what caused it. I will have a MRI next week to check out my ligaments, cartilage and muscles in that area. Doing a 10 minute barbell workout and take a 20 minute walk daily. Still smiling. emoticon

You too, Health? Sick and staying sick and then having to get your strength back. Me, too. I was sick for three weeks, and y'know, you lose a lot in a short time. I have to start from the beginning.

I can empathize. And you've had a loss in your family on top of that.

No wonder you feel so tired!

Ive been having a rough month-ish. My husband's cousin passed from cancer and we traveled to that. Then we both got sick. My held on for a month and I haven't gotten back to exercise or feeling like my smiley self. I am tired all the time. Today we had a lot of sun so I am trying to be grateful for that. Work has gotten intense too.

Feeling okay today except back pain from intense cramps. A bit nervous about gathering documents I need for UK immigration and feeling a lot of fear that I'll get denied, but it's beautifully sunny today and I'm going to fake a great mood until I get one!! :)

Today was such a stupendously lovely and sunshiny warm day, like summer! Summer in March!

I was able to persuade Allan to actually go for a walk today. That's a miracle.

Good afternoon! :) On day 9 of staying within my calorie range and walking each day. had to take a 1 day break from walking due to moving furniture last night. I figured one night off walking to allow my back to rest up versus walking and making the back much worse, was probably the best bet. Back to walking tonight. :) I CAN DO THIS!!!!!!!!!! :) 1 pound down and on my way!!

Takin' it off SLOW and keepin' it off for GOOD!!

The vicks plug in help. I get bronchitis at a drop of a hat, finally saw an ENT doc. He swears by using the airborne will shorten the time from when it goes from head sinuses to the broncheal I'll keep you posted. Years a go my primary doc use to give me what they called GI syrup, like they used in the service. One swig of that you didn't dare cough again, it sure did work. I swear now it must of been moonshine.. hehehehe. Take care good luck, continue doing well in your weight loss.

You too? I got a horrible chest cold, and I've been coughing so hard I thought I'd cough my brains out. I woke up coughing myself silly and couldn't get going for more than several minutes. We see the doctor on Thursday, and I can ask about this.

Up last night till 3 am coughing, kept strong, did not snack like I usually do when can't sleep. Today is the start of beautiful weather. Love spring time, that's why Tigger is my favorite,

EXERTIGER I do that often & it drives me nuts. Fortunately this morning I went back to sleep for an hour after letting the dogs out but I feel so drained. I guess the heat here doesn't help either.

HI! I just got out of lunch and feel very stressed. One of the waitresses had a problem with me.I ignored her as best I could but it really stresses me out. My therapist said she's just trying to do her job well l'm just trying to get better. I am very vulnerable. I get upset over the slightest displeasure of people How can I make it n the outside world

Thank you! For me, being depressed has a lot to do with feeling disempowered. My dad was depressed, so there's probably a genetic component, too, but feeling unable and out of control and totally lacking in self-efficacy is the big one.

The compulsive stress emotional eating stopped this week. It's such a relief. While I'm not out of the woods by any means, I feel better.

And it helps that the sun is out today. Bright light makes a difference!

The diet started yesterday. I'm glad to have put the brakes on the compulsive stress eating. I feel less depressed today.
