Heart Rate Monitor wearers

I ahev a Polar f6 that I only wear when exercising. I got it new from amazon

just while I exercise. I bought mine brand new off of ebay. It's a Polar11.

Only when I exercise and I got mine at Dick's Sporting Goods. But I have seen that even Walmart carries a pretty good variety of HRM's for a good price.

I definitely don't think it is necessary to have one of the topline models...mine was only about $70 (compared to about $130 or more) and it has served me well!

I wore mine all day once so that could get an idea of my heart rate while performing regular activities.

I was recovering from an injury and couldn't really push myself too much while working out, but wanted to make sure that I was exercising effectively.

I just wear mine while exercising. I need to think about investing in a better one, though. Where are you all getting the ones with the chest straps?

I only wear mine while exercising. It has a chest strap and for me that would be uncomfortable to wear all day. Also I think the battery would drain too much. But I love it for my workouts. Even if the kids and I are just going for a walk I'll put it on and I'm more motivated to go outside and do things because I see the instant gratification of how many calories I've burned.

Do you usually wear yours all day or only when exercising?
