I could handle the exercise and even the yelling (even though I'd probably want to yell back). It's the whole world watching me that I'd have a problem with.

No way! I would die! I am adding exercise to my daily routine, but that stuff is crazy!

Do I think I could? Yes.

Would I? Not a chance.

It used to be one of my favorite shows and then I realized how horribly they were treating the contestants (both mentally & physically). I won't even support the show by watching it anymore.

I would never want to be on it. I think losing that amount of weight per week would be awesome so the weight loss would be fast BUT I would never want to lose that much weight so fast 1 - 2 pounds a week for me. I think that is what your body needs to do if you want to be able to keep it off for good plus it helps your body adjust (saggy skin, liver, etc).

In the 12 week Biggest Loser Challenge Round 19, I WILL lose 9 pounds which is about 1 pound per week on average.

I don't think the pressure to lose on that show is healthy. I sure would not want to be on it!

I much prefer my journey to be one I share only with the people who I want to share it with. I am too private a person to do this! And, I don't think yelling at me would even work! I've tried that way of doing things. Loving myself enough to make changes is what works for me.

Mel you beat me to posting that!

Before I read that article I would have said "I don't think I weigh enough for that? Do I?" And thought I could do it.

But after reading it I was like I want to lose weight the right way... and that's not it.

But if Jillian or Bob were my personal Trainers having me do it right and healthy, you bet I would take that chance!

NO WAY! I recently watched videos about how the Biggest Loser treated their contestants like herds of cow. Some have left the camp with eating disorders.
I don't think it's healthy to lose that much weight so soon and I don't think it's responsible to not address the emotional side of eating, especially with people that are overweight.

Nope! Not a chance. I am so done with that show. I mean, I don't need it any more, but after I read this-- I have absolutely no desire to ever be a part of anything that has to do with that show. Won't watch it and shame on NBC.

OMG I would loveeeeeeeee that!! I think the best thing would be being away from EVERYTHING that causes me to be lazy or not take time for myself, you know? In "the real world" you don't always have time to cook things the best way or workout or all of those things that you do on the ranch.

Then, you have someone show you what to do, the best way to do it, when to do it, what to do after... and you learn SO much. They are given such great tools (proper nutrition, a great gym, a place where everyone is in the same position, great coaches, etc) and then are challenged which pushes them even MORE.

What an amazing experience that would be omg! I would hate to be away from my family, but as the mom, I speak from experience when I say that I am the LAST for things. Last one to eat dinner, to have clean clothes, to have time for myself, etc... because I am there for everyone else always. It would be a miraculous change to be #1 for a while. :)

And lastly, I am SO competitive! I would work even HARDER to beat everyone! haha

Overall - YES, that would rock. And either Bob or Jillian or even Kim could kick my a$$ and I'd be happy to have them do it!

Wouldn't it be cool if there was a place we could PAY to go to that was like that... but without the cameras? haha

Able to? Yes I think so.

Willing to? No. I won't leave my toddler to be on the show. I'd prefer to lose the weight slower and be around in his life.

I can't. No way. I have 2 kids under 3, and I couldn't leave them. Now, it would be nice to be able to just focus on weight loss, instead of trying to focus on raising 2 small children, keeping a 3 bedroom, 2 bath (plus dining room, office, laundry room, playroom, living room and kitchen!) clean, pets, bills, marriage (with a trucker) AND weight loss on top of that!

I use to think I would. I just didn't know about the TV (the whole world watching). The more I think about it I think I just wanted Jillian to scream at me and make me get off my butt. Now I have learned so much (that I really didn't know before) here at Spark. I really do not want or need the show. I still like to watch the show, I just can't see me ever being on it.

I would love to achieve the weight loss the contestants get, but I am afraid it might be too brutal for me! Would be awesome to just be able to focus on nutrition, exercise, and knowledge, though!

Could I handle the pressure? Sure. But I wouldn't be able to lose that much wait that fast (nor would I want to). I like both Bob and Jillian, so it would be fun to see what they'd say and what recommendations they would have.

i was just wondering how many of you guys think you could be a contestant on the biggest loser. At first i was like " yh, i can do it!!" and would yell at the contestants that moaned and fuss. However, as of recently i was thinking i don't know if i can handle Jillian (I would want her over bob, not that nothing is wrong with Bob, i just prefer Jillian) yelling at me lol
