I've had to replace just about everything, yes, including shoes.

I figure I will probably have to replace everything about 4x by the time I get to goal. :D

I have started checking out thrift stores for pants and shirts - you really can get some good deals.

Although there are certain things I'd NEVER buy there, LOL.

People with normal size bra Collections (about 10) should get refitted and replace their Bra's every 6 to 12 months due to general changing bodies. Or at least that is what they told us when I was fitting bras at Lane Bryant.

Sadly there was no figure of how often people with like 20 bra's should get fit... its probably the same....

oh no!! I have some really cute shoes. Guess I can't lose the weight now, or they'll be too big. NOT!

Thanks for the heads up. I just got some new bras in the mail because mine were all stretched out and didn't do the job anymore. I'm surprised how tight the new ones are, even though they are the same size! I guess I should get new bras more often

I'm jealous of you who gained smaller feet! I'm 5'5" with size 10 feet and I think they're staying size 10. Why why why do I have such proportionally big feet? My feet are almost as big as my 6'2" husband's!! :) sorry - mini rant! :)

Congrats on the lost inches Fit2Swing. THAT is SO very AWESOME!!!!!!

Really your feet shrink? You mean theres a chance I can wear a size 9 shoe one day? I'm a 9.5 (sometimes wide) now but a 9... that would be something.

Thanks for confirming the muscle leaner then fat. :-D

emoticon on your losses!

Yes, as you go along your journey, you will find you will need to replace just about EVERYTHING. Stuff, you wouldn't even think of...I had to even overhaul my shoe collection as my feet got smaller - who knew?! Underwear, bras, belts, rings, are just some of the things I've had to replace. It can be frustrating, but its also very fulfulling to know you have accomplished so much. emoticon

Muscle takes up less space, that's why tape measurers are, IMO, a better tool than scales. A scale, you can have water weight, or if you've been working out, you're fat is replaced by muscle, and the scale doesn't know that. A tape measurer does though!

And emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon fpr those lost inches!

Muscle is leaner than fat, so one pound of muscle is going to take up less space on your body than 1 pound of fat!

A while back I posted a blog about how I have far too many bras to replace them all.

This week I noticed my boobs were falling out of the cup of the bra and its been driving me a tad crazy. I was thinking ďIve only lost 13lbs so I canít be falling out of my bras yet? Can i?Ē

Before I started losing weight I measured about a 39 across the strap (just under the boobs). So I would jump between 38 and 40 bras (DDs and Ds depending). So I pulled out that tape measure this morning and found that I now measure a 37!

I also did the rest of my measurements too this morning and just about everywhere has lost an inch or more since my last measure (up to 4 inches total in spots). I feel like Iím losing inches faster the pounds. Anyone else feel like this?
