I agree with Emerald CoCoa Roasted Almonds. They're amazing.

There are also these YoCrunch Yogerts. Some of them have M&Ms on it. Those kill the craven for me.

when I have to have chocolate I buy one peppermint patty. When I was little my grandmother would break them up in a candy dish and we could have one quarter of one. The flavor stays with you awhile and gets ya through it.

Emerald makes cocoa almonds that are dusted with chocolatey goodness. Tastes like a Worlds Famous Chocolate bar but is all the goodness of eating almonds. I alos do Swiss Miss sugar free chocolate pudding made with no fat milk. 70 calories per pudding cup.

If you REALLY can't control yourself and a little bit of chocolate just WON'T do, then try making healthier substitutions, like fresh fruit or dried fruit that are sweet but have no fat. Or, try making healthier dessert options out of fruits and veggies.

Have some and track it- I always ALWAYS find that when I'm too strict with myself and I deny myself a yummy treat once in a while, a little later on I binge on it.

I second XPHOENIX's idea of the jello sugar free puddings. I ♥ the dark chocolate one, and it's only 60 calories and 1.5 grams of fat!

Also, the Kellogs' FiberPlus Antioxidents dark chocolate almond bar is AH-MAZINGLY chocolaty. Seriously, it rivals candy bars. It's calorie and fat count is a bit higher, 130 cals and 5 grams of fat, but it also has 9 grams of fiber, 2 of protein, plus some calcium, iron, zinc, and vitamin E, so it's lot like it's empty fat and calories.

I eat one every day as my reward for working out! I don't work out, I don't get my chocolate fix. I can't not eat chocolate, and by planning for it, I don't feel like I need to binge.

Sugar free cocoa does it for me. Takes a while to drink a cup of hot cocoa, and is pretty filling.

Have just one piece and eat it SLOWLY after a few days, or weeks of not having it, your more likely to enjoy that little piece, and then you can say "no more" besides isnt it the first bite that tastes best anyway?

Some great suggestions so far. I find dark chocolate works really well for me, just a little bit will take care of a craving, so I keep some of the Hershey's Special Dark miniatures around for those days I really need some chocolate.

A few other suggestions:

Hershey's Kisses - One is about 30 calories. You have to unwrap them, so it slows you down! Also, if you keep them in the freezer, you either have to plan ahead and pull one or two out and let them thaw a little, or enjoy as they take longer to melt in your mouth!

Chocolate Cheerios - make a nice snack, and you get some calcium too.

There's no substitute for chocolate! And everything is good in moderation, including chocolate. But my favorite snack to help with a chocolate craving are Emerald's Cocoa Roasted Almonds. THis way you get a little bit of chocolate to kill the cravings and protein to help keep you satisfied!

Also check out Sparkrecipes.com- they have lots of healthy options for deserts that will help keep you on track.

If you feel like you can control yourself, I buy a bag of semisweet chocolate chips and keep them in my cupboard. When I get a chocolate craving, I have 10 or so. It's about 70 calories.

You can also buy sugar free hot chocolate mix. Yum!
