It depends on my mood. LOL Sometimes I crave sweets and other times I crave fatty foods.

This time of year is always rough because Easter is approaching and they are selling Cadbury Creme Eggs. I LOVE them! I've had one since I saw them in stores a couple weeks ago. I've been avoiding them since then.

My newest craving is for gorgonzola cheese. I've always loved it and I used to make a killer gorgonzola cheese sauce for steaks, but it's horrible for you. So, I get a small wedge and limit myself to a half an ounce every couple of days. I could eat the whole thing if I let myself. Yes, I know...it's stinky cheese. It smells like old gym socks, but it tastes so good!

I'm a sugar addict. I'm getting much better. I generally don't eat things with more than 8 grams of sugar per serving. I love chocolate and pretty much anything sweet.

I just can't seem to give up on: the chocolate-peanutbutter combo. It gets me every darn time I see it. Though, I won't eat it if I don't have enough calories in the day and I now restrict myself to a single portion...at a time. This is a vast improvement on sitting down and unconciously eating loads at a time without even thinking.

Oh I have a lot. lets see... i would say Pizza and Chipotle Burritos are my biggest ones right now.

I'm working on it one day at a time. I'm hoping my cravings will disappear here soon!

I thought I was weird by having cheese being a problem food for me - but emoticon I'm not the only one!

I love love love cheese. Any kind. My poor daughter has cheese'itis as well! hee hee

And of course pizza. Love me some pizza.

The best part is I can have it, but the moderation word sometimes has me caught up. I try to buy lite or reduced fat if I can.

I don't know about 'addiction' but my temptations are:

Potatoes and gravy
Girl Scout Thin Mint Cookies (160 calories for 4!!!)
Casseroles.. so yummy!
Pizza of course. But I can handle that one easier.

Walking to Springfield, IL: 661 miles.

Walk to Rivendell: 458 miles.

Pizza, fast food, soda & chips. I cut those four things out of my diet this past week and lost 6.8 pounds without making any other changes....THAT'S how much I was overdoing it with that stuff :/

Nothing, really.
Is that bad? I mean, I've been working on these eating issues for a really long time and in general, I am pretty well in control. However, if there is something that I am likely to go overboard on... it is either pizza or homemade fresh chocolate chip cookies. Which is why when I have either, I try to build in portion control by how much I make (and with the cookies, how big. I make 3 cookies out of what is one "portion" of dough, so I feel like I get to eat more).
Admittedly, I've been in therapy and working on these issues for about 18 months now... so yeah... It's taken me a while to get here!

Definitely sugar and chocolate. Love white chocolate too. Once I start with the sugar it takes me 3 days of getting it out of system and my head.

WOW I have a few. Brownies, anything with gravy. I must cook meats in exact serving. If there are leftovers I will eat it cold in the middle of the night. I have to avoid pasta and potatoes again because I have a serious issue with over eating them..

Reese's of any kind (my biggest downfall)
Fried Chicken Fingers, whether they are from a fast food place, or in my campus dining hall
Chinese food -- General Tso Chicken, mostly.
Lasagna, Ravioli, Pizza, Pasta.. Anything Italian w/ red sauce, basically
Bread and butter. I could make a meal out of this when I go out! Haha.

I think those are the big ones.

Pizza and Ben & Jerry's are banned from my house because I know I can't resist them. When I was at my heaviest and my most self-destructive, I lived on pizza and B&J's Chubby Hubby (one carton a day). I know I can't handle them, so I don't. Now, if we're talking a good food that I treat myself to, these days it's sushi. I just make sure I keep it reasonable.

For me, if it has processed sugar, i am a goner.. i am like a crack addict.
i start eating and even i think it is a healthy choice, if my mind starts thinking i want more more more.. I know their is sugar in it.

Getting discouraged?
Lift something equal to the weight you've lost and carry it around for awhile

Once choice at a time per day
will make your new life style become reality !
