Wow, so many great goals here.

Some of mine are:
~to become debt free (will accomplish this by end of May..ya-hooo!)
~my husband and I are saving to purchase a condo, we are aiming for November/December
~I've always wanted to be a mother...we are going to start trying for our first baby next spring!
~making fitness and healthy eating a part of my lifestyle permanently

I have a few goals I want to reach over the next few months.

-Take an overnight hike through some mountains near where I live (Alaska)
-Do a two day canoe trail trip with friends
-Accomplish at least 2 hikes a week when the ground is no longer icy/muddy.
-Bring more strength training into my exercise routines.
-Try at least one new veggie each month, and prepare it in a variety of ways.

On the 31st I will have met my first goal of staying under 270 for 2 weeks so I can be ready to sign up to be a marrow donor :) I went ahead and signed up so I just have to wait for my office appointment.
My next goal is to beat my 15 minute mile 5 times.

My goal is to become a regular exerciser! I wish I could say that I like it and do it on a consistent basis now, but I don't. I really want to be healthy forever after I lose the weight and exercise is so important to being healthy.

I also want to become a sign language interpreter. (I am taking certification tests this month and in May) I would like to be hired at high school or college to interpret. It will be nice to make more money and I have a schedule that I make (versus the restaurant I work at, make very little, and have an ever-changing schedule that makes planning anything very difficult)

I also want to get married and have children. I have a wonderful BF that I have been with for over 2 years...waiting for that ring! lol

Every time I miss a workout I always try and get an extra one in, whether it's doing two a day (with rest between) or doing it on a rest day, I want to catch up for what I have missed. May take me a few weeks, I was quite lazy for a week or two. :)

I'm enjoying reading all of these. I thought I was going to get answers like "Lose a pants size" or "Lose a ring size" but it looks like everyone is thinking about their overall wellness (body and mind) instead.

To go hiking in the Grand Tetons & Yellowstone for a photography excursion. I love photography and really want to have a chance to scope out the amazing scenery where I live, but the problem has always been for the best views, you've got to hike up some mountains. I've never been fit enough to go hiking. This summer, I will be!

To save up enough money for our anniversary trip to Jamaica.

To visit my sisters this summer in California (plane tickets purchased today!)

If we make it to Jamaica, I want to go horseback riding on the beach.

July 20th - Idaho Falls Half Marathon

I have so many goals...
- I want to learn to run 5k
- I want to pay off allllll my debt
- I want to save up enough for our wedding
- My ultimate goal for the end of this (which is kind of weight related I guess) is to buy (and wear a white bikini. I know it sounds kind of silly but it's really important to me. It's the exact opposite of the traditional 'embarassed of your body' outfit.

I'm not telling you it's going to be easy. I'm telling you it's going to be worth it.

To be able to walk 2.5 miles by the end of March (almost there). Doesn't seem like much to some but in May 2010 I couldn't walk .10 miles without pain. After back surgery in May and finding someone who could fit my feet properly I could start walking again. First worked on doing a 15 minute mile. Now doing 2 in 28.8 minutes. So, for me, 2.5 miles is a really big accomplishment.

I love dogs more then anything in the whole world, I have one chihuahua but I want to rescue a higher energy dog from the pound, and I wanna be able to run with my dog daily and take him swimming and do tons of activity with my future dog.

So I guess i goal is to be at a fitness level where I can adopt my dream dog!

I also have a passion for sewing, I wanna be able to make clothes and wear them with pride.

To run 9 miles at a 10 minute pace. At the moment I'm training for a 10K, so I think that will really help in terms of mileage.

My goal is fitness. I want to be able to run a 10k. Right now, I'm working towards a 5k which I'm going to run in May. After that, I want to get up to 10k. I also want to increase the weights that I'm using for strength but I'm not sure of what the goals will be for that - I still have to give it some thought!

I don't want to see scale numbers here. I want to see something other than what our tickers would show. What is your next goal for your "life change?"
When you meet this goal you should come back and edit your post with the date accomplished.
I'm going to try and maintain a weight of 270 or less for 2 weeks so I can sign up to be a marrow donor. I could probably walk in right now and sign up but I don't want to walk in and get the one person that says I'm 5'9 instead of 5'10. At 5'10 I would be able to sign the donors list at 277. At 5'9 its 270. So while my goal is a little about weight its actually about being eligible to be a donor.
