I'm a nurse and I wore a pedometer for a couple of weeks worth of work but I realized that I was really just cheating myself because walking around the unit wasn't bringing my heart rate up enough to count for actual exercise so I don't count it on my tracker. I do know I was getting 12000+ steps in though. I don't wear it anymore.

yay cnas!! :)

i have a pedometer somewhere, i just have to find it. i work on an alzhiemer's/ dementia unit so its a little slower paced, but i'm still up and down the unit ALL. DAY. i started work today at 6:30 and didn't sit until noon.

Hey, I also work as a C.N.A. I've gotta get a pedometer to track how much I walk during my shift. I sweat like a dog cause I try n get rounds done as fast as I can, also I wanna get a heart rate monitor, just not sure of a good one.

hey guys, i am a nursing assistant and after a 10 hour day spend on my feet i'm wondering if there's anyway to account for the calories i've burned today? what do you guys do?
