Am very proud to say I used the treadmill today without shooting off the back - but still using my hands to hold on!!!

I've actually done exactly what you did... fiddled with my iPod and ended up on my butt.

emoticon I really needed this tonight. YOU ladies are SO FUNNY.
My thing is (and it has happened MORE THAN ONCE), I use a kettle bell emoticon & LOVE IT, so some nights after everyone has gone to bed I get it out & go to town. emoticon Well the first night that I DROPPED it, my kids & husband came running out emoticon "Mama what was that!?" Whoops!! emoticon maybe I shouldn't do that too late anymore. I'm not sure what it's called but when you swing it figure 8 between your legs, I throw it sometimes. emoticon the emoticon emoticon have learned to go hide & I try & get it done BEFORE the kids actually go to sleep.

My mom got a emoticon & decided to do crunches with me until she fall into the wood frame of her bed. OUCH! She had a few bruises but thank goodness she's ok.

I was doing Kettle bell swings the other day here at home and lost my grip and hit my dog. Thankfully it was in the rolling motion when it hit her so she just got up and looked at me like What the H-ll! Haha So your not alone we all have our moments

I've been lucky so far the only thing that has happened to me was that I was doing step ups in my circuit training class and came down wrong on my ankle one time. It just took me walking it to help it.

The first time I sat on a stability ball, I didn't have my heels anchored and it rolled right out from under me, shot across the room like a cannon while I landed on my butt. And yes, this was in the gym, in a class. I'm just glad I didn't "shoot" anybody.

I agree with the previous post about not pausing the stair stepping machine. For less-than-coordinated people like me, those machines are tricky even when I'm operating it normally! LOL! Good workout though... I did fall at my gym early last year and broke my hand/wrist. We were doing a group boot camp/circuit training, and my group was sprinting down the length of the gym and then back-pedaling (running backwards) back to the start. I lost my footing with the back-pedaling even though I'd done it so many times before.

I am in the running for the world's biggest klutz. That being said, I slipped and fell off the back of the treadmill once. I half caught myself and landed mostly on my (in this case, thankfully large and cushioned) behind. Of course, this WAS at the gym. No less than 6 ladies (women's only gym at least) came running over to make sure I was okay. That was definitely the worst part, lol, the embarrassment. Yes, I'm fine, nothing to see here, LOL. :)

Not fitness related but I once fell on my butt while singing karaoke.

emoticon

I also fell down once after I stepped on a bus.

Frankly, I'm surprised I've never had a major mishap at the gym.

emoticon Glad your not hurt. Sorry, can't think of anything off the top of my head except I was almost chased by a black bear once while doing my regular walk for exercise.

Ever seen those dumbest thing on wheels videos where people drive their motorcycles into rivers etc..? Well today i was the dumbest thing on the treadmill - leaned over to click through a song I didn't want to hear on my ipod....and um...leaned too far - slipped, fell, all in slow motion - couldn't stop it and was shot off the back of the treadmill. Luckily i didn't get hurt beyond a scratched up finger....and doubly lucky the treadmill is not at the gym - but in my garage...

So who else has a fitness outtake to share??/ C'mon, make me feel better about myself!!
