In fact, the most difficult thing to protect is the proper presentation for 5 minutes and no longer. It is better to prescribe the main theses in advance, I turned to professional help at phdify.com/ . Further, a strong criterion is the design itself - be careful and read the latest changes in scientific publications from the Ministry of Education

If you wrote your thesis yourself, then do not worry. Just relax, collect your thoughts and protect it. Worrying is necessary for those who did not write himself and decided to order a dissertation from online writing services top20writingservices.com/ In this case, it will be difficult to present your report.

Thanks everyone. Next week is the cut-off for my committee to make any objections with my proposal. I will then be preparing to defend it. I'm still nervous, but I think being able to step away from it for the first time in almost 2 years helped.

I have been trying the breathing technique and I'm hoping to get back into doing yoga more regularly this week. Good luck to all of you!

Go for a massage! I defended my dissertation about three weeks ago and that was all I needed.

I agree with the breathing exercises, they can really help. A lot of time when people get anxious or nervous, they tend to hold their breath and not breathe as regularly, which increases the heart rate and just makes you feel more anxious. If you practice the deep breathing, it can really help with that part of it.

Exercise is a great, healthy way to deal with the stress. There's also the advice my mother always gave me, "Breathe!". I highly recommend meditation or deep breathing exercises. They automatically lower your blood pressure and reduce adrenaline production. I always take a few minutes to simply breathe when I get worked up over my thesis.

First off - I am so excited that I will be defending my dissertation proposal next month. However, after 2 years of work on it, I am also extremely nervous and I know I will get more stressed as the date draws near. Any suggestions on how to deal with the stress besides exercising? I am an emotional eater, but I'd like to break that cycle since I have lost 31 pounds and have kept it off so far.
