According to my training schedule, I'll log 110.5 miles this month. The most exciting part is that by the end of this month, I'll be in taper-mode for the race on Oct. 16!

I have an October 9th marathon but a big business event that lasts 15 days cramps the trianing routine. I have a 22 miler coming up but that will have to be my peak. I am hoping to get a few shorter/long runs in after that.

Goal 140 miles

My marathon is at the end of Oct. Hoping to hit 20 and 22 miles two more times before starting my taper next month! Cannot believe it's this close!

It's the final 5 weeks before my marathon, so I have to play September smart, and I've got a good plan. I should be running only about 160 miles between now and Oct 9.

So far:

9/3: 5 miles
9/4: 10 miles
9/5: 3 miles
Total: 18 miles

I need to get on track. I plan to run the Detroit Free Press Half Marathon in October and the Houston Marathon in January.
