Good Evening! Just a quick a check in tonight. Im tired tonight, and I even took a nap today. Im not really feeling very well today and am in a lot of pain, this morning milking, a cow kicked me when I was putting on a milker, so my arm is bruised. So im going to take some pain medicine and go to bed early. Sorry Im not counting my points

Hope-----..Good job walking outside. I like being on a team with you.

I haven't have any pop.But boy i been tempt.. I did not make my goal of 3 fruits and 1 veggie a day, , My biggest obstacle is not eating in the middle of the night. Last night I did not get through the night without eating. I also working on not eating in bed. I did eat in bed last night, My exercise for today was Priority One - Chair Based Exercise S7-Ep4 .A youtube video. My and Cj exercise streak is now at 966 days. My happy today was weight in with a loss at the psychiatrist. Also I don't have to come back for 6 months.

Hello, Confident Cardinals! Today I walked outside for half an hour. Other than that I just had a quiet day at home. I canít believe this month is already ending. Iíve enjoyed being on this team with all of you this month.

Well now I know why I was feeling so sick. I AM sick. I have a fever and headache and all the stuff that goes along with whatever bug is making the rounds. I've been sleeping on and off for the last 2 days. Guess that's my best strategy along with drinking ginger root tea. I was able to get in my PT exercises by doing them one set at a time. Sure glad I have a snuggy blanket.

Sorry I wasn't here last night. I was just too tired. My trigger food for this week is pop. I haven't have any pop.. I did not make my goal of 3 fruits and 1 veggie a day, , My biggest obstacle is not eating in the middle of the night. Last night I did not get through the night without eating. I also working on not eating in bed. I did eat in bed last night, My exercise for today Chair Fitness - Upper Body Workout with Paul Eugene A youtube video. My and Cj exercise streak is now at 964 days. My happy today was having me time

Good Evening! Just a quick check in tonight, as my internet in really sluggish tonight, and its frustrating. Today was a good day. I still have to finish tracking my food, but I was completely on track with everything.
Im trying to find ways just to be more active around the house, sicne im at home most of the time. Im finding, Im not getting much activity because its cold outside and im not getting outside. I do get my 60 to 120 mins of exercise in, but I just want to be more active in general.

Well Im going to go get my exercises done. Hope everyone had a good day

Hello, Confident Cardinals! I walked outside today for 24 minutes! Itís the first time Iíve exercised in about a week. Iíve been having trouble getting motivated, but today I just got up and did it. It feels good to have that accomplished.

CJ Ė Congrats on getting a new stronger resistance band! That is definitely progress. Thanks for the prayers for my dad and me.

emoticon Hello Friends - I had a good day with my physical therapist. She gave me a stronger resistance band - I have a bright pink one now. I call that progress.

Hope - I know how you enjoy doing hand bells. I hope there are some people ready to replace your friends who are quitting. I hope the magnesium infusion will help. Sending prayers for you and your dad.

Amanda - I'm glad you had a better day today. I agree with you - it's hard to believe it is nearly February.

Karenmarie -- Good job with staying away from pop. We aren't that far from 1000 Days of exercise. What do you want to do to celebrate?? And Thanks for sharing the chair exercise video - I'm going to check it out.

Hello, Confident Cardinals! I went to handbell practice today and found out that two people (a married couple) are quitting our group. Weíre going to miss them. Our handbell director is looking for replacements for them now.

Karenmarie Ė Thank you for your prayers. My father is having some side effects from the radiation, but he is doing okay.

Hello, Confident Cardinals! Sorry I havenít been here for a couple of days. Friday I went for chemo, but after they did my blood test they said my platelets were too low for me to have chemo. They also said my magnesium was too low, so instead of having my chemo medicine I had a magnesium infusion. Iím going to have a two-week break, then go back for chemo again. Today I played handbells at the early church service. I donít really have any plans for the rest of the day.

emoticon I'm back from the hospital and glad to tell you that everything went well. They found nothing serious. The biopsies will be back within a week or two. Should come back okay. They are upping my GERD medicine which should help reduce the symptoms.

AND I can eat again. WooHoo. I had a banana and there is a sweet potato baking in the oven.
Now for some very much needed sleep.

I'll be back with my points total.

I did eat in bed last night, My exercise for today was Best chair based exercise for Type 2 Diabetes, .It was a youtube video. I like it even without being diabetic I am pre diabetic . It include a dumbbells workout what I really like. My and Cj exercise streak is now at 960 days. My happy today was having mom go to bed early. So I am getting 3 hours of me time before bed. Also I like being able to do 30 min of exercise without being bother to do something for someone.

Last night I did get through the night without eating. I also working on not eating in bed. I did eat in bed last night, My exercise for today was Chair Fitness Workout at SF YMCA, .A
youtube video. My and Cj exercise streak is now at 959 days. My happy today was having my brother Rich come over. We watch a Catholic movie.
Also I am happy I got my computer and cable tv back. There was a problem with the phone lines.

Good Morning! Im checking in early today since Im probably going to have a busy day. One of my cats has something wrong with his ear, I believe. He seemed a little off yesterday afternoon, then yesterday evening, he was freaking out and growling at all the other cats and my husband and I for no reason. Then he started pawing at his face and his ear. His ear has a strong odor and has some black crust, which is either a sign of a ear infection or ear mites. So off to the vet we go today at 115, but they are squeezing us in, so we could have to wait for awhile.

Its cold here again today..I cant wait till Spring!! Then I can get outside to get my exercise. Doing exercise indoors get boring. Im going to look for some new workout ideas today.

Hello Friends - Good news from the dentist -- we got all the preparation done for my new crown and the temporary is in place. It's a bit sensitive but there is no longer a hole in my head. : ) I get the permanent crown in 2 weeks.

As of now I'm on clear liquids only --- so it will be Friday night before I get to have something solid like banana or sweet potato. It will be easy to keep away from my trigger food, won't it! So far I've done well staying away from gluten products.

Amanda Ė Sorry youíve been so tired. Itís so frustrating to not be able to sleep when youíre tired. Good job with your nutrition, water, and exercise!

Karenmarie Ė Good for you for exercising, not eating during the night, and not drinking pop! Iím glad you enjoyed reading your book. I read my book some today, too.

Good Evening Friends! Sorry I haven't really checked in too much in a couple days. I have been really tired, but when I try to go to bed, I cant sleep. Its been really cold here the last few days..milking cows in the morning has been freezing! Today it was like 5 degrees!

My nutrition, exercise and water have been good. I have been doing well with being on track. My trigger food this week is chocolate. I have done well on not having chocolate, although today I did have 3 Hershey kisses. But other than today, I have not had any chocolate.

KarenMarie- Great job on not having any Pop! And great job on your exercise streak with CJ!

CJ- I hope it goes well getting your tooth prepared!

Hope- Great job on getting to the mall to exercise with the cold weather.

Hello Friends - Yes, my appt. went smoothly and I am cleared for my procedures on Friday. Tomorrow is my day at the dentist to get my broken tooth repaired. So I'm planning to take a nap after that as my reward! : ) I'm heading for bed because I need to leave early in the morning. Hugs to you all.

Hello, Confident Cardinals! Sorry I didnít make it in here last night. Yesterday it was pretty cold here, so I walked at the mall for my exercise. I havenít exercised yet today, but I plan to. Yesterday I also had handbell practice, which was fun. I had an eye doctor appointment a few weeks ago, and they ordered a trial pair of contacts for me in a new prescription. My trial pair finally came in, so Iím trying them out. So far they seem to be better than my old contacts, so thatís good.

CJ Ė Iím glad youíre feeling better. I hope your pre-op appointment went well today. The amaryllis looks pretty. Thatís nice that you donít have to do anything to take care of it. Thatís my kind of plant, lol. Did you watch the Downton Abbey movie? I enjoyed it. It was fun to see all those TV characters again.

I've decided that gluten is my trigger food. I feel better when I stay away from wheat and other gluten products. This challenge is a good reminder for me.

Hello Friends - I felt better today and was able to get back to all my PT exercises. I just did a few at a time and spread them out through the day. I also was able to get acupuncture so I expect I'll sleep well tonight.

Tomorrow morning I go for my pre-op appt. I'm not coughing so I think I'm well enough to have anesthesia - I'll see what they say. I just want to get all of this stuff over with.

We actually saw the sun and some blue sky today. It's been quite a while. Sure makes me appreciate the sunshine when it is here.

AND my amaryllis is blooming. Stephanie gave it to me for Christmas. The bulb is waxed so I don't have to do anything to take care of it. Have you seen them? Mine is red like this picture. It's been delightful watching it grow.

Good Evening! Just stopping by to say hello! Ive had a better day today, even though I have a sore throat. Its really cold here..it was only like 8 degrees this morning milking cows..it makes the mornings really long. Thankfully its only supposed to be really cold like this for a couple days.
My nutrition, water and exercise were all good today and I met all my goals.

Good Morning! Sorry I didn't check in yesterday. Its been snowy, icy and cold here the last couple days. My trigger food this week is chocolate(candy bars, etc) . So far, I have not had any chocolate this week. Yesterday was not a very good day, nutrition wise. I was frustrated yesterday because when I weighed in, my weight stayed the same and ate too much. I was over my calories by about 400 or 500 calories. So not too bad, but I defintly have to get back on track. Today will be a better day. I know I will see the results on the scale eventually, its just frustrating. I need to do my measurements to see my results there, as I haven't done them in a few months.

KarenMarie- Great job on not having any pop! That's a hard thing to not have sometimes, and its a hard thing to get away from. Great job on meeting your other goals you are working on!

Hope- Glad you are feeling good through chemo.

I did make my goal of 3 fruits and 1 veggie a day, , My biggest obstacle is not eating in the middle of the night. Last night I did get through the night without eating. I also working on not eating in bed. I did eat in bed last night, My exercise for today was. Paul Eugene Chair Exercise for Seniors . A youtube video, My and Cj exercise streak is now 9512 days. My happy today was having my best friend over. She got along very well with mom and Natalie . WE played pinochle and my team won.

Good Evening! Ive been so tired today. I took a long nap this morning, and Im still tired. Ill be going to bed soon. I didn't get my blog done this week, but Ill add up my points tomorrow. My nutrition and exercise are good, although my water is a little low.

Hello, Confident Cardinals! This morning I walked outside for 35 minutes. We had beautiful weather here today. This afternoon I substituted in my motherís bridge group. I didnít have good cards, but I had a good time playing.

Good Afternoon! I hope everyone is having a good day. My day has been good so far. Although, I keep feeling like I want to snack today...Ive resisted the temptation so far, and plan on doing whatever it takes to resist snacking too much today. I might add in an extra snack, which would still keep me in my ranges, but it would keep me from reaching from something I shouldn't have. Ill see if Im hungry after awhile and then decide. Im just going to keep busy and stay out of the kitchen.

Hello Everyone - It's been a difficult week-end for me. I have a fibromyalgia flare which means most everything hurts and I'm swollen enough that it is difficult to walk. I'm starting to get better - I know I'm getting rid of excess fluids because I've been running to the bathroom every half hour!! I went to OHSU for a consult before my endoscopy next week. Not my favorite thing to do but I think it is wise because of all the GERD pain I am having. And guess what? My primary care person said "since you'll be having anesthesia -- how about doing a colonoscopy at the same time??" I working on an attitude adjustment about all these "procedures". I'm tired of "adulting" if you know what I mean. I know I'll follow through with it, but I'm not quite ready to give up complaining.

AND I broke a tooth! I have a super dentist so he saw me today and smoothed off the jagged edges. I'll be getting a new crown next Wednesday. I'm looking forward to a much better February when all this stuff is done.

We sent off the baby blanket today. There was enough yarn to make a little hat, too. I'll post a picture as soon as Stephanie loads it for me.

Hello, Confident Cardinals! Just a quick check-in tonight. Iím really sleepy and Iím about to go to bed. I went to handbell practice today. It was the first time weíve practiced since before Christmas, so it was fun to play again. Iíll catch up with all of you tomorrow!

Good Morning! I hope everyone had a good weekend! Im checking in early today, since Im resting my back/shoulder, so while sitting on the couch, I figured its a good time to do some SP stuff. Ive been really motivated since the beginning of the year, even through the pain ive been having in my back, shoulders and chest, the cold ive had, and some off and on stomach issues...ive stayed motivated and kept on track! Ive been having some stomach issues lately and I think I figured out the problem, I was using Splenda Naturals Stevia in my tea and coffee, and I think it was causing my stomach problems, which is weird because ive used this brand several times before and never had had a problem. This time I got it through Amazon, and I got a full refund for it, and will not be using anymore. Now I have to decide what I want to get now, im almost afraid to try anything else right now.

Nothing really too much else going on here.

Good Afternoon! I hope everyone had a great Sunday! Im not in nearly as much pain today, although I do still have quite a bit of soreness, Im having some stomach problems too. Im thinking im have so sort of illness that is causing all this. I have taken it easy for the most part this weekend, but I did still get exercise in, low impact, but I wanted to still meet my goals.
My nutrition and water have been good too.

Good Evening! Just a quick check in today. Im really sore tonight, including my shoulder, but it kinda moved into my chest. I feel better than I did this morning, but Im still in some pain. If im not better by Monday, ill go to my DR just to get checked to be on the safe side. I thought about urgent care tomorrow, but they are expensive. So unless I absolutely need one, Ill wait for my DR on Monday, if needed. My throat kinda hurts tonight and Im a little congested, so maybe this is just all from being sick..Its just strange how I feel.
Other than that, my day was pretty good. I still managed to get some exercise and my nutrtition and water are good.
