My official weigh in day is Tuesday. This helps keep me honest over the weekend while still allowing Monday to get back on track if necessary. Sometimes I also weigh Friday morning to remind myself I am making progress and to stay on track for the weekend.

Recently I have been addicted to weighing every day...such a terrible habit

Goals:

150- 2/1
145- 3/1
140- 4/1

Weighing on Monday morning sounds like a very good idea! While I'm working all week its very easy to keep track and not go crazy, but when I'm just sitting around all weekend it's almost too easy to lose myself and over eat. I think I'll do that on Monday too!

I weigh-in once a week, on Monday mornings (helps keep me on track over the weekend, knowing I'm gonna have to weigh-in). I had to make a real effort to only step on once a week, because it would drive me crazy if I stepped on more often than that.

I haven't taken my meausrements in a few months. I guess that's probably the best way to check fat loss but whenever I take measurments I forget where I put the tape measure so I don't know if I'm getting accurate readings.

I used to rely on trying out the scale everyday. It started making me really mad. I set a goal for myself to only go on it once a week. I weigh in first thing in the morning on Wednesday morning. It took me awhile not to go on it for more than one day a week, but I worked up to it. I think that it is important not to do it everyday, your body fluctuates so much during the week. Just have to make yourself "look forward" to seeing the results only once a week. Of course sometimes it doesn't always make me the brightest flower in the morning, but it's kind of a game in my brain. I do know that it isn't the one thing to rely on, but it at least fuels your motivation (positively or negatively) for a week at a time. I then stick to doing measurements once a month.

Good luck with everything!

I generally weigh in once a week (every Sunday morning). Sometimes I'll do a mid-week weigh-in on Wednesdays to see if I'm still "on track" for the week or if I need to "up my game" by either consuming less calories or burning off more.

Hey all, just wondering what everyones strategy is for weighing in. Do you weigh in weekly, daily, monthly?

I don't want to get stuck to the scale but I can't seem to stay away from it every day!!
