In addition to a vitamin B Complex, I start my days with 5000 mg of B12. I often take a second one after my nap. It does seem to give me more energy.

A couple of weeks ago I started Gabapentin. It was for my legs. They felt like icebergs from the shins down and my feet felt like they were on fire. I was trying to just put up with it, but I always ended up in bed with a heating pad over my feet...Now I would say they ate 90% betteras long as I'm walking or keep my legs elevated if I sit down...
I'm still taking 2 naps a day...my doctor wants we to do chair exercises...even a little bit..I just don't have that energy..I'm not even on Spark People as much as I would like to...
I hope this lack of energy is a carry over from summer!

I'm glad it's helping. I'm usually taking it twice a day but I still need two naps most days. Maybe I should take !my second dose earlier, before my first nap. And take a third dose when I get up. Maybe I wouldn't need a second nap.

I just started it a week ago and I’m taking less naps. I’m also taking a drug for PBA called Nuedexta and that seems to be helping... now I need some energy!

That’s true... Only Vit A, D, E and K are toxic...
I started taking it...the fast release one...
I’m back on Gabapentin for the burning ice cold feeling in my feet and that’s helping...
Today is a good day...😁

Yeah, it's a good idea to check with your doctor.

My functional medicine doctor says you can't overdose on it and recommends taking as much as I need.

I haven’t tried B12. I will speak to the doctor about that. I just have no oomph and fatigue, but I can stay awake for longer periods if I remain quiet...
And I just had a bout of diverticulitis so that didn’t help... but I’m trying to stay positive. That’s another big goal...

Good goal. Have you tried taking B vitamins and even mega- dosing on B12? It's supposed to help with energy.

My goal is to watch my carb intake since I’m a diabetic type II. I’ve lost about 15 lb and want to loose more, but getting my A1c down is more important. I’m still extremely fatigued all day, but trying to do a small task each day. I know how hard it is to be active won a team when you feel lousy, let’s try to participate ❤️

Hey everybody! Let's have a more active Spark Team!

Fall is a good time to set new goals. September is a good time to re-start.

My goals:
- I've been seeing a functional medicine doctor. In the past two months, I've lost 6 pounds. My goal is to lose an additional 8 pounds, to follow his dietary recommendations, and to become healthier.

What goals can you set for yourself?

I'm glad you might be feeling a little better. And setting goals; I think that's important.

I started seeing a doctor of functional medicine who is suggesting some dietary changes. Trying to be somewhat compliant and to keep an open mind.

My biggest goal is staying awake and doing some activity. So far I’m much more alert. I’m on a new medication for PBA called Nuedexta. So far so good.
I have a summer cold and so far I’m OK.
Hope everyone is having a good summer.

My goals are to:
- Exercise 4x per week (Silver Sneakers class, recumbent bike, chair exercise on YouTube, other)
- Walk average 2000+ steps per day

Most weeks I make at least one goal. Sometimes both.

That's a good start, Ezzz.

I went to the gym yesterday and rode the recumbent bike fur about 15 minutes.

Hubby purchased a used tandem bike this week. We tried it out briefly today. Just around the block once. He has to pedal slowly so that I can keep up.
