good for you. I also have a need for late nite snack. So I try to stay in control by purchasing snacks that are small and fit into my healthy plan. I love the little Weight Watcher brownies. My husband sits next to me eating all sorts of desserts and because I have my own "allowable" snack, I stay on track.

Good for you. That is a good thought. Keep it up and you will reach your goal!!!
Sometimes when I want something so badly, I will put a tiny bite in my mouth and get the taste and then spit it out. I may get a few calories but I get the big satisfaction and that will satisfy me without having eaten the tempting food.

I struggle with late night binge eating on high carb, sugary foods. Yesterday, when my family brought home 4 tubs of fruit slice candy, plus some strudel bites, I looked at them prominently displayed on the kitchen counter and said to myself, EEWWW, those are nasty! I'm not eating that stuff!

So far, I see them, but I've not touched them yet! I'm praying that this new attitude will help me avoid late night binge eating, since those are the type of foods that I crave the most. Going to bed earlier will also help and I'm planning to do that too.
