Sylvia, at least is pounds lost and not pounds gained. I posted about goal setting on my blog today. I think you are amazing loosing with all the stress of a new job.

I am sorry that I have not been around much - my new position is not easy and I just don' have the energy to turn on the computer once I get home. I did weigh in this morning and I am sure that I am not getting to my 20 pounds either. I have lost a total of 9.8 pounds so far - hope you all have a great day!!! Sylvia

Okay I am in shock (in fact I went back and looked at my post and checked the math) and then my mine went to but I probably won't make the 20 pounds lost and then remembered the little talk at the beginning of this challenge that it is better to have tried and lost what you can then the goal of twenty pounds so I am happy. I am hoping to loose 3+ more by the end of the month because then I will have lost 50 pounds total since I started this journey in January.

No weight lost for me this week, but I am outside walking again. Walked the dogs 2 miles last night, plus did a Leslie Sansone type workout during Biggest Loser last night, total of 55 minutes yesterday. Walked 15 min mile this morning on my work break - it was fantastic! It's so beautiful outside!

I didn't lose any extra weight either. I'm happy with that, though. A weekend of not drinking water had me retaining 2 lbs by Monday. At least they're gone now. So....for the challenge....I stayed the same.

Water,Water,Water,Water......get it in my head!!! :O)

Well, I didn't lose any weight this last week :( I kept my caloric intake within the suggested range and worked out 3 days for an hour. I did a lot of strength training though so I'm going to chalk it up to that. I'm glad I didn't gain though. I will have to up my workouts this week! :)

I gave myself the goal of 10 lbs in 2 months. I'm excited that I'm half way there! I have no doubt that if I continue what I'm doing now, I can lose another 5 lbs in the next 3 weeks!!!

I got outside and walked 2 miles today after work - it was great, except for the wind blowing in my ears! lol

I didn't take the dogs, because I didn't want them pulling me with my back hurting the way it has been. But it really was a good workout, I needed it! Just me, my music, and the road. Someday, I hope to actually be able to run it instead of walking.

Had a great dinner tonight too, salmon with brown rice, peas & carrots. I actually stayed in all my ranges today and met all my goals!

Hi all - sorry I've been MIA, I fell WAAAAYYY behind on my sparkmails, I had almost 400 to sift through. Couldn't skip them, because most were for the Done Girls team, and since I'm one of the leaders I felt obligated to at least skim most of them. I finally got caught up and have been reading all the past posts.

I've been so busy, and BF has had 2 surgeries in the last 2 months, as well as losing his job. Things have not been easy, and I let my food & exercise tracking slip quite a bit. Here is my updated info:

/27 starting weight: 253.4
3/4 WI: 254.6 (+1.2)
3/11 WI: 254.2 (-0.4)

I started tracking again on Weds, 4/1, and controlling my snacking a little bit better. I took a sneak peak WI this morning, and was down to 252.4, so it looks like I'm off to a good start for April!

Another team I am on talks about non scale victories. It is so important to not just focus on the scale moving.

Non scale victories can include: someone telling you they notice how great you are looking, clothes looser or moving down a size, feeling better, not having as much pain, being able to do something you could not do before.

So how about it, what are some non scale victories you have had this month.

Mine was the chiropractor noticing I move much easier and looked much better when I took my daughter to him last week. He said I lost a three year old!

I'm hoping the scale is a bit kinder next week. I've been working so hard! I swear I have never eaten this many fruits and veggies in my life! lol. Not to mention all the water too!

Down 3 more for this week. I guess drinking 9-10 glasses of water and building dog fences all week was good for me!! lol
