I recently "found" the Notes feature on the Nutrition tracker thanks to someone on the Mindful Eating challenge team. I'm using that this month to journal about eating habits in particular (part of the first week's challenge on that team). That's my new thing!

Great idea! I was spending so much time tracking foods and exercise, that I was missing out on the message boards, so in August I began using the quick tracker for food. I still use the fitness tracker because it helps me keep track of my cal burned better. I now have more time to support and be supported on the teams.

My goal this month is going to be to blog at least 1 time a week.

Great challenge Michelle!! I've got a good handle on nutrition and am in maintenance so I've decided to give the quick tracker a try. It allows me to quickly track my fruit/veggie, water and workout minutes.

On the weigh in area I've also added some other things I'd like to track weekly and see reports on like my energy level.

Can't wait to see what the others are doing this month!!

In the three months since signing up on Spark People, some have been more active than others. But I would guess that no one has really made use of all the tools and resources on the website yet!

So, I challenge you in October to do SOMETHING NEW on SP. Set your own goal, mini or maxi, and report back on what you've chosen and the progress you've made.

emoticon SOME IDEAS:

- post your FIRST blog if you've never done that, and try blogging daily, or weekly for the month.

- start using the nutrition and/or fitness tracker on a regular basis.

- check out and use some of the great exercise videos and just do 'em! (I like the Cardio Kickboxing one! www.sparkpeople.com/resource/fitness

- post on the Class Team message boards. There's a daily check-in thread, or start your own with an idea or question you might have.

- try and or post a recipe, even start your own cookbook on Sparkrecipes.com.
