The week didn't go as planned. My outside painting had to switched to in side due to weather. I was making good progress when I discovered no one liked the color I picked😱. So I had to primer everything I just painted to completely change the color. I should have been done by Sunday but it has carried over into Holy Week & the kitchen no less. What was I thinking🤦🏻‍♀️. Well, it's Tues. & I have the main walls done. I did one accent wall that I need to give a last look in the am light to see if I missed any spots. Then it's placing the outlet cover back on & put up the corner wall protector to keep the bench of the kitchen table from banging into it. I need to switch out the curtain rod for the new curtain I found on Amazon really inexpensive. It totally changes the look of the kitchen. I love it! I do need need to freshen up the trim. Some parts of the paint are just worn off, it isn't dirty. Last but not least the pantry door needs a coat of paint. Odd thing about this house, the former owners never matched the color of the any of the doors to the trim. It makes the door look dirty when it's the color. I'm not sure if I can get to that before Easter of it that will have to wait until summer break.
The rest of the week will be to focus on Holy Week & prepare for Easter Sunday!

Well, I'm jumping in this challenge a bit late but better late then never. My something new for this week is tackling outside painting for the 1st time. I have 2 outside windows, 2 outside doors with 2 door frames/trims to paint. Since moving here (going on 5 years in June) the existing paint has chipped & fainted. This harsh winter hasn't helped either. Now is the time to do it before the summer heat rolls in. I'll have to guess & my steps since I won't be wearing my fitness band of fear of getting paint in it. When I paint I WEAR IT! Well, I need to get moving.
Hope you are having a good one.

Take care & God bless,

What an awesome idea. Oh, how I've missed the boat on this challenge with today being March 17th already!

This Lent I think we need to work on our body/mind just as we work on our souls. 8000 steps/try to learn one new thing every day of the week with the exception of Sundays. (Sundays can be our rest/break day as it is for the Lenten season.) If we post on Sunday how we have done through the week I think that will work better than trying to post every day or at the end of Lent. Tomorrow we begin!

Happy Fat Tuesday ladies!
God bless!
