My weight loss struggle has to be work stress. I have a habit of binging after work. Usually on carbs. And a little snack won't work. It has to be meal sized. But I get off work at midnight.
Last night I had a can of soup and threw celery and onion in it to beef it up. Today I asked my friend to make me air popped popcorn.

Congratulations on your previous accomplishments!!

I know that no-motivation feeling all too well. When I get into a funk sometimes all I can do is be patient and ride it out. Sometimes it takes a weight gain to shock me and snap me out of it, and other times it is just trying to cut myself some slack, try not to gain, try to keep getting on spark, reading healthy things, getting some activity, etc until I just naturally get more motivated again. Sorry I'm not much help, it seems each of my funks is a little different than a previous one. But it helps to know that I am not EVER giving in and giving up on my determination to be healthy. And nothing can last forever, including the bad moments and the lazy unfocused funks we can get in. It WILL come to an end.

Also, sometimes when I start physically feeling yucky because of no exercise, but I can't motivate myself to workout, I'll start with getting down on the floor and doing some stretches. A couple minutes of that can make me feel better, more limber, muscles warmed a little...and it helps me to start wanting to exercise again in a day or two.

You can do this!!!

ps - I see this was posted a while ago, I was on vacation and have been in my own funk that I'm coming out of now - how have you been doing since you posted this??

Katie

Gosh, where do I start? I have no motivation this week. I am not eating as badly as I could, but I don't care as much as I should....(make sense?) I also have no desire to exercise. I have several things going on to cause some stress, but I want to get my focus back. I lost 60 pounds with weight watchers and on July 30, I will hit 2 years of being at lifetime. I am very proud of myself and don't want to slip back. HELP!!

I use meditation for focus, but I don't always get a chance to do so on a daily basis lol.

I don't know - I can't think of what I do specifically, stop thinking about it so much by getting busy (exercise, cleaning...feeling accomplished) helps some.

I am struggling with FOCUS. I feel pulled in a million directions recently which is making it a little hard to focus on proper eating, etc which is then an excuse to not care or pay attention to what i"m doing, what I'm eating, etc. Need to snap out of it!! I'm trying to get more of a set schedule figured out to help!

Motivation - today at least. All week, I've been in a really great mood, and then, today, UGH. So over today, and there's just no one specific reason, I just don't want to participate in today.

How does everyone else get over the grumpies?

Is there anything you are having a tough time with? This is the place to come for support, advice, motivation, etc. Even if you just say " I could really use a 'goodie'" :)
