Wildflower,
There is a download program that you can print out. Go to coolrunning.com Scroll down. On the right hand side, in the yellow block under "feature article" "couch to 5k", there is the printable version.

-Try a new healthy recipe(something from Spark, or cooking light magazine, etc.-if you love it, share it)

-Try a new exercise you have never done before (maybe yoga or Zumba or going for a run)

-Try a new healthy food that you have never tried before (maybe asparagas or flax or eggplant)

-Play an active game (volleyball or badminton or air hockey)

-Talk someone new and different into exercising with you

-Make a low-cal version of one of your favorite recipes that you have given up because it was bad for you in it's original form (Mom's meatloaf or Grandma's cole slaw)

-Go on a hike or walk somewhere beautiful you have never been before

-Purchase (or go to the library for) a new magazine or book that relates to your new lifestyle and spend some time reading it

emoticon My family walked to our local library and I checked a few "health" magazines on Friday. I spent time this weekend to read the articles.

-Make yourself a new workout music mix and make use of it
I down loaded the workout mix from "podrunner" a program to get you from couch to 5k in 9 weeks.
I did my first session today!

Haha! Yes Aimee, I was becoming itchy wanting to get some exercise so bad. My dad and I took turns driving and I spent one of my "off" times trying to work abs, arms and such. I stopped when I noticed another driver give me "the look". We had a good laugh about it!

This final mini mission really is mini because it only lasts for two days! Just two more days until the end of our month long challenge!

So far we have learned about controlling and being aware of our sodium intake, the importance of drinking water, raising our heart rates with cardio, and the importance of staying within our calorie range.

We have toned our bottoms, learned the value of valuing ourselves and being proud of our accomplishments, and shared some truely wonderful ways we each make it count every single day. Seriously, I saw some really fantastic ways to make it count!

The last challenge is another important part of this lifestlye change. I'm sure you have all heard the saying that variety is the spice of life? Well this certainly applies to your diet and exercise as well. We should all be making efforts to keep things fresh and new and exciting. When it becomes dull and humdrum we are less likely to stay with it.

We should make sure our routine isn't routine at all-we should continuously make efforts to keep it fun and fresh. With that in mind, this last two days Live-It points will be earned by changing up what you're doing just a little and finding new ways to push and motivate yourself.

Listed below are some activities. You do not have to complete all of them, but you will earn 5 bonus points for each one that you complete and share here with the team. Tell us abot what you did and in the process you could give someone else a great idea to make it fun for them. Here are the activities:

-Make yourself a new workout music mix and make use of it

-Make a list of goals and rewards for yourself and share them here with us

I wanted to give you plenty of options so that you could find something that fits into your life. Have fun in you new lifestyle-it doens't need to be a chore! It CAN be fun and WILL be fun if you look at it like an adventure. Work on finding ways to keep in interesting. When you enjoy something, it's easier to keep it up.

So keep it fun. Keep it fresh. Shoot for the moon-should you miss, at the very least you will land amongst the stars!
