Psalm34V7-The fitness are really the only ones that won't double up. I meant to menation that but I forgot...thank you for asking! The only ones that double up are the ones that meet two DIFFERENT criteria. Fitness is kinda the same criteria...just different amounts of minutes.

Thank you Aimee! That's super nice of you to let us count points for our anthem.

I have a question about the points (perhaps other people do too...)
For fitness, I have done 60 minutes today total (they were consecutive too). So that’s red points, 25. Does that include: 2 x white (30 consecutive minutes of exercise), and 6 x blue (10 minute workout) for a whopping 25+20+18= 63 points!! That sounds too good to be true – please help me so that I add these points correctly.

The idea of this particular activity was to positively influence someone else in your life by getting them to exercise that and I think you accomplished that. It would be different if her were your workour buddy 3-4 days a week. You accomplished something by getting him to do it with you...I say that points are yours!

Natalie, Whatever you are comfortable with, but you earn 25 points just for posting your points totals daily.

Hi Aimee,
I had a question on "Get someone new to exercise with you" My son has not been consistant doing the "30 day shred" with me. Today I had to beg him to join me but he's not really new. Would it count?
I showed him that my guns were bigger than his that's how I got him to join me! (of course he's saying "Nah ah!" LOL) emoticon

I will keep track and update when I get back from the cottage, there's no internet there. Also it says you get points for logging in and tracking. I won't be able to but I will write down everything while I'm there. I don't suppose I can count points for that?

Oh and since I'm in Canada, for me this will be celebrating Canada Day, and the blue can be the lake where I'm doing lots of swimming this weekend ^_^

I'm posting a little early so you guys have plenty of time to look over the upcoming challenge that will be starting on July 1.

This first week of July is bound to be busy with all of the 4th of July festivities. With that in mind, you'll find lists of activites below that are broken out into 3 different categories: red, white and blue. Those items in the red category are those that will be more difficult to accomplish during this busy time so they are worth the most at 25 live-it points each! Those in the white category still provide a bit of a challenge while creating an emphasis on working your healthy lifestyle into a busy schedule and including others around you-they are worth 10 live-it points each. The final category is blue and these are activites that emphasize enjoying life and time with friends and family and simply having FUN. This is an important part of our healthy journey and because of that these activities will still earn you 3 live-it points each.

If you do any particular activity more than once, then you also earn your points more than once. Also, if it satisfies more than one criteria, you get points for both. For instance, if you have a 30 minute bike ride with your sister, then you get points for a bike ride with family AND for 30 consecutive minutes of fitness. This is a great mission to start the month strong since your points will add up fast! At the end of the month a real-life prize will be mailed to the home of our team points leader. So print out the list of activities listed below and start tallying your points July 1st. _RACHEL will also be posting a continuation of the Bible scriptures challenge and points earned through that challenge will be combined with points from this challenge. They will be totalled seperately but we will add them together for you so don't worry about that. Make sure by the end of the week you have all of your points totalled in the template provided below so I can post the weekly leaderboard.

Here are the activities:

RED

60 consecutive minutes of fitness
Attend an aerobic activity at a gym or Rec center
Complete strength training 3 days this week (6 days earns double points)
Stay within calore range
Stay within sodium range
Get 7 or more hours of sleep
Drink at least 8 cups of water
Log into spark and track your points for this mission


WHITE

30 consecutive minutes of exercise
Go swimming
Play an active game outside
Go for a leisurely walk
Get someone new to exercise with you
Walk somewhere instead of driving there
Go for a hike with friends or family
Go for a bike ride with friends or family


BLUE

Enjoy some live music
Go for a scenic drive
Attend a gathering with friends and/or family
Sing(or sing along with) the Star Spangled Banner
Watch a fireworks display
Play a board game/cards
Go to the movies
Sit outside and enjoy the sun
Play in the sprinkler or with a waterhose
Talk to someone about spark
Say thank you to a compliment about your healthy lifestyle accomplishments
Do a 10 minute workout
Spend some time in a hot tub
Tell a military serive person you appreciate their sacrifice
See a waterfall
See a rainbow
See a river, lake, ocean, stream, creek or pond
Go for a boat ride
Eat something grilled
