Thanks for the offer, but I didn't even track for those days. My dietary requirements seldom "balance" anyway.
Since I am low on the fat side I tend to be high on the carb side to make up for that. Maybe that is why the weight is not budging. I should work on that meaning more fresh and less processed foods. emoticon

100 points for each day you balance all three! - My protein range is prescribed to be higher (carbs lower), but I'll see what I can do :-)

UPDATE: Spoke to my trainer yesterday, because I'm struggling to keep my calories high & good. He said I can do 1200 calories, but try to get the majority of my days at 1500 or higher.

Dec 1 Thu: 1206 Calories = 100 pnts
Dec 2 Fri: 1757 Calories (YEAH!) = 100 pnts
Dec 3 Sat: 1813 Calories = 100 pnts (although this kind of Calories will cause my trainer to punish us all with around 50 pushups - if he finds out)
Dec 4 Sun: 1253 Calories = 100 pnts
Dec 5 Mon: 1211 Calories = 100 pnts
Dec 6 Tue: 1214 Calories = 100 pnts (I really need to get more calories)
Dec 7 Wed: 1338 Calories = 100 pnts (another round of bad snacking to up the calories)
On track all week 300 point bonus earned: 300 pnts

Total points earned from the week: 700 + 300 bonus = 1000 pnts

Miles traveled this week on the way to Bethlehem: 39 miles

Tis the season for giving...but we are going to be giving the gifts to ourselves this month! Let the first gift you give yourself this month be the gift of a healthy, well-balanced diet.

You might have noticed before that on the page where you track all of your food, there are daily reports that you can view. One is located on a button right below your "add food" button and the other is located at the bottom and says "Show today's full report". Either one of these will show you a pie chart that details what percentage of your daily calories are made up of carbs, fat and protein. The recommendation is that 50% of your daily intake should be carbs, 30% should be fat and 20% should be protein.

This is an easy guide to a well balanced diet. Your challenge is to try to come within 3% on each of these core units of a balanced diet. You'll receive 100 points for each day that you balance ALL THREE of these core units within 3%.

The other part of a healthy, well-balanced diet is keeping your calories in check. It's especially tough this time of year because of all of the gatherings and goodies going around! Give yourself 100 points for each day you stay within your range and earn a 300 point bonus if you stay in range the entire week.

Dear Aimee, so sorry for being so late with my totals. I had a hard time figuring out the percentages, then, after calculating them on my own, by mistake I found out where are they in the tracker report. OMG!!!

Being in balanced - 100 points
Staying in calorie range - 500 points
Miles to Bethlehem - 22.39

Aimee or Donna, can you help me out to see what may I be doing wrong cause I noticed, I never fit in the %'s range you gave us, just only one day. I double check the percentages I post and they are the correct ones (what I consumed those days). So I do not fir in your percentages; I know I am doing something wrong. Cazn you help me figure out what is it I am doing wrong? Any suggestions on how to improve and get to balance them.

BTW, tahnk you so much for thsi challenge. I beleive I have figure out why the scale is not moving, lately; to much carbs and to less protein.

I love this team challenges, cause I am always learning and improving!!!

There was a bonus for the calories staying in check, but not one for balance...

What's funny about this challenge is that 90 percent of the time I balance perfectly, but I don't think I was able to balance even one day this whole week! You watch, now that this challenge has passed I'll go right back to balancing again..LOL!

I just went back to double check that day. I have no idea what I was doing, because it looks like I screwed it up major! emoticon There were decimals (I've fixed my numbers). The numbers I entered doesn't even add up to 100!! At least I got the calories right for that day. My apologies. I'll be sure to double check before entering next time. This is an easy guide to a well balanced diet. Your challenge is to try to come within 3% on each of these core units of a balanced diet. You'll receive 100 points for each day that you balance ALL THREE of these core units within 3%.

Tis the season for giving...but we are going to be giving the gifts to ourselves this month! Let the first gift you give yourself this month be the gift of a healthy, well-balanced diet.

You might have noticed before that on the page where you track all of your food, there are daily reports that you can view. One is located on a button right below your "add food" button and the other is located at the bottom and says "Show today's full report". Either one of these will show you a pie chart that details what percentage of your daily calories are made up of carbs, fat and protein. The recommendation is that 50% of your daily intake should be carbs, 30% should be fat and 20% should be protein.

This is an easy guide to a well balanced diet. Your challenge is to try to come within 3% on each of these core units of a balanced diet. You'll receive 100 points for each day that you balance ALL THREE of these core units within 3%.

The other part of a healthy, well-balanced diet is keeping your calories in check. It's especially tough this time of year because of all of the gatherings and goodies going around! Give yourself 100 points for each day you stay within your range and earn a 300 point bonus if you stay in range the entire week.
