I just bought a Zune off of ebay and received it yesterday. It is already half way full with music which I consider a bonus. Anyway, after my son was picked up from the bus stop, I danced walking up and down the drive, around the house then throughout the house with my dog in tow. I not sure what the songs were since I didn't load them and never heard them before, but I liked them enough to do today's challenge. Which by the way was way cool. Love to do this more often!

I'm a bit different today with this. I'd danced for a total of 50 minutes - not all at one time - before I read the Spark Mail announcing today's challenge. Some music was playing upstairs in my landlord & landlady's part of the house, but I couldn't tell what the music actually was. I caught the beat & just started dancing. Part of it was out of grief, I think - an aunt I was pretty close to for most of my life died last Saturday & her funeral's tomorrow. It hasn't really hit me yet. Looking back, I can see that every time a moment was getting close to the realisation of it, I'd get up & go out of just exercise frenetically, & this was one of those times.

I'm not trying to keep from grieving, but something's compelling me to move, & this morning was one of those times. I'll grieve openly at the funeral tomorrow, I'm sure.

So, for me, dancing was a release today. I have no idea what I danced to - all I knew at the time was that I had to dance. It was good, & I feel great now for having done it. :)

How fun was dancing friday LOL turned on the radio started dancing to "My girl" after a couple songs started dancing my way through some housework ,soon the house was clean My house mate and me were laughing at our goofy dancing ,can do some great John travolta moves putting away dishes,and 45 minutes had passed.Put me in a great mood before heading out to work.

Music seems to motivate me!!! This is my first day on SPARK so I am browsing around and joining different groups!!! I will be dancing to "Tik Tok", some lady gaga and two other songs...for a total of fifteen minutes....I started dancing for 15 min. a day two days ago, just to see if it will help me!!!

This week I tried a new class at the Fitness center called Zumba, it works all parts of your body and is so much fun. It is a 45 minute class and uses several different tunes, all fast paced and so much fun to dance to. Think I am going to try and take this class once a week and put it in place of our regular Friday Challenges.

I had my Dance your way to Weight loss class on Wednesday and we learned Disco/Retro. We used all body parts and danced to those "Saturday Night Fever" type songs. It was quite a workout.
