My goals for this challenge are to become committed to including exercise into my life. I have made excuse after excuse to not make the time to exercise, now it is time to stop the excuses and start the committing to a new way!!

My goal is to complete this challenge every week and move onto the next week. I want to work exercise back into my routine without feeling stressed about it. I think that this challenge will work best for getting me motivated and meeting my goals. emoticon

Hi Everyone,

I hope this will motivate me to start making small changes and STICKING with them. I want to incorporate daily exercise and know that I need to start slow--this should be a do-able challenge for me. I plan on starting out with just walking at least 10 minutes a day. Sounds so simple...

I am determined to start out and get a great healthy streak going that includes drinking 8 cups of water, exercising 10 minutes a day and logging onto sparkpeople every night to track it all. Hopefully, this will all work to help me reach my bigger goal of getting into the 100's (13 pounds)

- drink 8 glasses of water a day
- snack less in the evenings

My Goals:
I already have a few set up on my spark page but ill list a few of them here too.
- drink at least 8 glasses of water a day
- Not eat fast food at least 5 days a week
- purchase healthy options when i do eat fast food
- exercise for at least 10 minutes everyday
- Eat at least one more serving of veggies a day.

I think that is pretty good goals for now... :) Now to load them to my streak tracker

I want to get back into shape after having my son. I exercised all through the pregnancy and then quit once I had him. Now, 18 months later, it's more than time to get back in shape. I'm hoping this challenge encourages me to just get up and moving, even if it's only 10 minutes a day.

Now for my goal: I'd like to get back into running so over the next 4 weeks I'd like to run 4-5 days a week. As a long term goal, my friend wants to do a half marathon together next year so I figure I'd better get off my butt and get exercising!

My first-week goal is to do 10 minutes of step aerobics every morning before going to work and on days off. In the evening I'll do 10 minutes combining the twist board and the In-Stride cycle.

My Goal is simple to finish off this week and turn into the second, walk Boomer at least once a day for at least 30 minutes. Most of last week I was lucky, when I went out with him we stayed out for at least 45 minutes. I felt great after and then this busy weekend hit. I plan on changing that so I will be making sure I get off my butt for at least 30 minutes to spend quality time with my dog.

I do hope to eventually move onto where I can be running with him not just walking but for now I will keep up the walking.

To do aerobics( low impact) for 15 minutes followed by a good amount of stretching! emoticon

Ten minutes of cardio every day followed by a ten minute stretch. (Have a ten minutes kick boxing DVD at home, and have been advised by my doctor to run for ten minutes every other day). Also would like to do strength training every second day.

Just recommitting myself to health (again). 7 days. 10 minutes that's easy.

I can do it. only 70 minutes in one week. Sheesh. I used to do it in one day. Eat well exercise. Easy enough, right?

Today I begin week 3 and have enjoyed the past 2 weeks. My energy level has also improved doing 10-min exercises in these smaller increments.

I still walk , tai chi and do low-impact aerobics for 30 mins, as well as strength training twice a week.

I am enjoying the 10-minute daily exercise streak challenge.

I also fertilized lawn and flower beds today. I'm challenging myself to work outdoors as part of my exercise regimen.

Day 1- was able to get out to walk and actually jog a bit (that's a first!) this morning before work for 20 minutes. Amazingly, it felt great- can't wait for tomorrow morning.
