My goal for the month of March is to start doing something, anything. Today I will play 30 minutes of Wii tennis. Tomorrow it will be a couple of hours of gardening (got to get ready for spring). Next week I am signing for a one month gym membership which includes 8 sessions with a personal trainer. That will keep me motivated!

My goal is to stop using my long work days as an excuse to avoid exercise. I CAN and WILL excercise for at least 10 minutes a day! I plan on doing a 10 minute segment from one of my 10 minute solution DVDs or some strength training on days that I work. On days I am off, I will try for longer sessions, and will focus on walking the dogs, jogging and actually using the gym membership I pay for!! emoticon

Well nice that I get to start at the beginning of a month. (March 1st)

My goal is to actually exercise 10 minutes a day. Just as the challenge says - just something for 10 minutes to get the exercising established. Additionally I want to work on 8 glasses of water and not eating after 7pm. :-)

Good luck to everyone and to all my March Challengers.

My goal is to workout 10 minutes a day for 28 days to new exercise videos. I started spark people the beginning of the year and I lost 11lbs in the first month but now at the end of February I have not lost any more weight. So I am up for the new challenge to start my metabolism up to loss 4 lbs in the next 4 weeks. emoticon

I am going to make a tiny goal for myself to get healthy eating and exercising back into my schedule. I bought the Sparkpeople Cookbook. I will make a grocery list of healthy foods to buy for my house. I will make a recipe, for lunch, from my Sparkpeople cookbook twice a week. It is a really small goal, but that's the only way I can do this. I'll work on building on that goal after I've achieved it. emoticon

I am new to this challenge, but not to exercise. Getting in the time is not an issue, so my goal for the next 4 weeks is to get in 10 minutes of new exercise. I have a library full of dvds and have pinned several new ideas on Pinterest, which should give me a wide variety to choose from.

This is my first time through the challenge. Since October, I've always taken at least one day off a week from doing any exercise, and sometimes it's stretched to 2 or 3 or 4. I'd like to change that and get a little every day - balance it out a little so it's more sustainable over the long term. So I'm going to commit to getting at least 10 minutes of cardio exercise for the next 28 days.

I am back to week one, because the last two weeks, I've been on week 4 and just can't seem to get going... but I got new motivation today, so tomorrow, everything is resetting for me on this goal. I know I can do 10 minutes a day for 4 weeks! So, I'm on my mark, getting ready...

I seem to have an issue with sticking to daily exercise. So, I will take my Spark Coach advice and commit to just 10 minutes a day for 4 weeks. Then, will start to add mins as I develop a healthy addiction to exercise! Someone out there....hold me accountable!!! Please ask me! emoticon

It's just important to me to maintain the joy of exercising - in my case, running/jogging. And I believe I'll do this by not over doing it, but being consistent.

I just started with SparkCoach and, of course, daily exercise is necessary. I have been on SparkPeople since January but the fitness part of my journey has always been lacking...or non-existent. I really NEED to commit to 10 minutes a day to get started and get a good foundation for my fitness program.

My goal is to get my butt moving for at least ten minutes a day. First day is digging out all my exercise videos, the wii fit, weights, bands, step and hula hoop and dust them off. That should take at least ten minutes. Then I resolve to use this stuff for something other than room decorations and dust collectors. emoticon

My ultimate gaol is to lose weight and get healthy. I have never been interested in exercise or sport of any kind. I always preferred a good book!! I have been on SparkPeople for two weeks now. I am aiming for at least 15 minutes of exercise a day and most of that is on the Wii. I have persuaded that other half to come on a four mile walk with me later which will be a first for us both!

Now, with this challenge I would like to start slow with an exercise routine and this is perfect because it's just 10 minutes a day and I can handle that. emoticon

Dear MOMMYGRANDMA, slow is good when you're working your way up. This team will encourage you to be consistent. I sometimes have a few days together when I just get too busy to spend a couple of hours at the gym, and it's all I can do to get a 10 minute walk with my poodle. It's good to remember: even those count toward my goal of good health. emoticon

Hello: I am going to try to do at least 10 minutes of exercise of some kind daily; more, if I can. Multiple health issues makes this very hard for me, but I will just have to take it slow. I guess slow is better than none.

I am determined to stick to this challenge - I often quit as I try to overdo it and commit to the gym 4 times a week instead. I am focusing on increasing my day to day activity.

I have a sedentary job and drive to work - as well as needing to do more intense exercise - dvds/gym sessions/exercise classes.

Doing pretty well, but at least 1x per week I just really don't want to pop in that dvd. I think just planning 10 minutes will be enough to get me up and moving, rather than the 30 minutes of getting my but kicked...although it sure feels good when you stop.
