My goal is to set aside 10 minutes every day for stretching. These 10 minutes can be completed in 1--10 minute session, 2--5 minute sessions, 10--1 minute sessions. It doesn't matter how I do it, as long as I do it every day. Although I already make sure to stretch when I first get up in the morning, and then several times throughout the day--joining this team will provide some extra incentive and motivation for me. Since being diagnosed with fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue, I find stretching (along with yoga and tai chi) to be very, very beneficial.

My goal is to exercise for at least 10 minutes at least 6 days this week (preferably 7). I am planning to do this through walking and dancing and am hoping to get in 30 minutes most days. I am hoping this challenge will help me get out of the rut I've been in for the past 4 months.

My goal for week one is to take my dogs for a 10 minute walk every day (instead of taking them out for a couple minutes, letting them "do their thing", then coming back in the apartment & vegging). This is on top of my regular daily workout at the gym. It'll be good for the dogs & good for me, too!!!

My goal for week one is to add 10 minutes of stretching to my daily routine. I won't put it off - I'll do it first thing in the morning. 10 minutes ... Easy stretches ... I can do it!

“You can gain strength, courage and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You are able to say to yourself, ‘I lived through this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along’… You must do the thing you cannot do.”

My goal is to just complete this! I can do the strength training without any problem but, the cardio stuff is soooo very difficult for me! I do it in spurts, doing a lot in one day and then little to none for the next few days. I want to even out the time. Even if I just use the treadmill for 10 minutes a day will be great!!!!! Here's hoping.....

Well, I did the treadmill for 10 minutes, gardened (pulling weeds) for 15 minutes, and wrestled the dog to give her a bath for 15 minutes. WOOHOO, ME!! Total of 40 minutes today!!!!! So much for day 1!!

First Day of Spark. First day of the 10-minute a day exercise challenge. I will move at least 10-minutes every day. If all I can do is walk fast around the mall near my work, I'll do that for at least 15 minutes. Other days I will get up early and dance for 10-15 minutes. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, I will attend my 1-hour karate class. I want to lose 35 pounds before my 50th birthday on March 3, 2012. What a great gift that would be to give myself.

I'm new to this whole challenge deal so I kind of missed posting for week 1 but my goal was to start slow and work out at least 10 minutes. I ended up doing no less than 30 minutes in any day.

Remember who you were yesterday makes you who you are today that's what leads me to believe everything happens for a reason.

I joined this goal because I have a really hard time staying motivated to exercise daily. I tend to get really excited about it the first few days, then as soon as life gets busy I forget all about it. I'm hoping that by starting small I'll be able to build a habit that can eventually lead to longer, more effective workouts. Because really, "I'm too busy" is not an acceptable excuse to not spend 10 minutes on something!

My goal is to walk my dogs for at least 10 minutes everyday, and to do a 20 minute yoga dvd I have at least once this week.

My goal is for 10 minutes of exercise a day plus starting my morning with stretching (used to do it, but got out of the habit). I have a 4-month-old and a 5-year-old so fitting in exercise is hard, but I know I can manage 10 minutes a day!

I like the idea of committing to 10 minutes of exercise per day. It doesn't freak me out in the way 'walk 2 km every day' or 'exercise 30 minutes every day' does. I hope I find out that in my regular course of events I'm actually doing a bit more than that each day!

Wish me luck! And, good luck to everyone else on the challenge!

My goal for the challenge is this:

I will workout for 10 minutes a day, 7 days a week. My goal includes at least 4 days with workouts of 30minutes or more.

Ideally, I want to workout 5 or more days for at least 30 minutes, but I haven't been able to make that streak last recently. At least this way, three easy days of 10 minutes would add up to the same number of fitness minutes as 5 longer workouts. If I make it to 5 longer workouts, that's even better!

Every journey begins with a single step...

I'm really going for 30 minutes a day, but since I sometimes skip days, I figure that 10 minutes is better than none. So, my goal is to check in with my fitness trainer daily and get 10 minutes in no matter what.
