I use a WW scale that I think I got at Target. It can weigh 2 people and also tracks Water, BMI, Bone Density. My husband is on a medication that effects Bone Density so his Dr recommended we get one that tracks it (or else I would just have a cheap $9.99 one from Kmart like my old one).

I got my scale over a decade ago at Walgreens and it's been faithful. It's rotary rather than electronic. I also verify over the Wii Fit.

I forgot about the scale on the Wii fit!

I think I will get one for the bathroom, just to make myself SEE it everyday. I don't necessarily have to get on it, but I will see it.
Using a term from WW, it will be an anchor to see that scale everyday, reminding me of my goals.

I also have the cheaper version of the Health Meter. It has a digital display and measures body fat % and how hydrated I am if you step on it bare-foot and it can track weight for 2 people.

The last time I weighed in and went to the doctor later that afternoon I was 3 pounds off. Then again, that was later in the day, and fully clothed, so I consider my scale very reliable.

I have a Health Meter Scale -- I really like it since it has a options and only cost me 29.99.
It also uses double AA batteries. It keeps weight very accurately. Believe I bought it at Walmart.

I use my Wii fit board as my scale. It gives me BMI as well and a line chart of my weight over the months.

You don't have to eat the whole thing.

I have the Curves digital scale, it (so far) has been really accurate. It also measures things like body fat %, bone density, etc., which is useful if those are things you need to keep an eye on.

Original SW on 1/1/11 - 204.4 lbs.
Original GW on 9/1/11 - 134.5 lbs
Original GOAL ACHIEVED! 70 lbs. banished!

Time zone: EST

New SW on 1/1/19 - 204, back to the very beginning
New GW by 12/31/20 - 135

I just bought a new scale today...29.99 at Target, but I have to return it already cause the batteries won't stay in place so it doesn't work.
Its a Taylor stainless steel digital scale. Just does weight.
I think the important thing is to weigh yourself on the same scale all the time. Instead of weighing at the gym and at home, etc. That is where you will get some variation.

I use a Tanita Ironman series. It gives you weight, BF, calories to maintain, fitness level, and many others. It may not be the most accurate, but it is a consistent variable.

I don't use our cheapo scale at home, don't trust it and I don't want to make a habit of weighing all the time. I use the professional balance scale at my gym once a week, so far it has been my friend.

I was just wondering what type of scale that everyone used/recommended. I have a regular $9.99 scale from Wal-Mart, but I know it's not very accurate.

I'd love just a standard accurate scale, but I don't want to spend a fortune. Any suggestions?

Trixie
