I am going to keep my daily goal to 27,000 steps per day and keep my weekly goal to 200,000. Due to FitBit.com not having access to the original dashboard I will now be tracking my Active Minutes. My goal is to keep it above 150 minutes per day. I will also be tracking my mileage and my goal is to walk 12 miles per day. I will also be tracking my floors climbed but as I don't really encounter many steps in my travel I will be interested in seeing how high I can get this number on a daily basis. Keep moving people, I know I will! DON'T GIVE UP!!!

I love all the activity on this thread! Welcome to each and every one of you and I hope that you accomplish your goals this week. I WOULD LOVE TO GIVE A BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO JOINED THIS THREAD THIS PAST WEEK! We were an amazing 31 strong this past week!! That is a decrease of two members from last week. I continue to be amazed at your step counts, all of you should be very proud of yourselves!
We are still #1 in the Computer & Electronics category?! That is amazing! As of the posting of this post, we are now at (drum roll please!) 53,962 members strong! That is (continue with a drum roll please!) 415 more than last week! That is an increase of 108 members from last week!!! With the upcoming Christmas holidays and the huge influx of national television commercials I anticipate our number to dramatically start increasing again. We are at the door of 55,000!!!!

I am going to run with this comment for another week....
I read so much chatter about FitBit's new wrist activity products. Some good, some not so good. I am interested in obtaining one and comparing it's readings to my trusty One. I wonder how they would compare. I would love to know which FitBit product you are currently using.
FitBit recently eliminated the FAIRLY MODERATE category of exercise on their member's home page. They also have combined their MODERATE and VERY categories to reflect the total of ACTIVE TIME one has on a daily basis. This change resulted in a drastic reduction of active minutes.
Huh?!?!
UPDATE: Once again FitBit has discontinued the option of reverting back to the "old" dashboard so ACTIVITY MINUTES and VERY ACTIVE MINUTES can no longer be tracked. Ugh!!
I am going to continue tracking ACTIVE MINUTES and DISTANCE.
We are knocking on the door of the heavier period of the holiday portion of the calendar year. Halloween and Thanksgiving have both passed, Christmas and New Year's Eve are on the horizon. Various other activities will be entering our lives so you may think it difficult to stay active. I challenge you to remain as active as you have been and even increase it. There are so many small opportunities that will present themselves each and every day to move. Even if it is a five minute walking in place session, it all counts step-wise! So take advantage of these opportunities and don't fall victim to the curse of the holidays!

Finally a decent week! This past week I stepped a grand total of 216,255 times for an average step count of 30,893. My total Active Minutes for this past week were 1442 or 206 Active Minutes on average per day. I traveled a grand total of 104.98 miles which averages out to 15.00 miles per day and I climbed a total of 12 floors. I am excited for next week, let's see what I can accomplish this upcoming week!
