Every day I am on the verge of making slight changes that would make all the difference in my life.

One day I won't be able to do this, but today is not that day

I am going to reduce my daily goal to 25,000 steps per day and reduce my weekly goal to 175,000. Due to FitBit.com not having access to the original dashboard I will now be tracking my Active Minutes. My goal is to keep it above 150 minutes per day. I will also be tracking my mileage and my goal is to walk 10 miles per day. I will also be tracking my floors climbed but as I don't really encounter many steps in my travel I will be interested in seeing how high I can get this number on a daily basis. Keep moving people, I know I will! DON'T GIVE UP!!!

OUR THREAD CONTINUES TO GROW EACH WEEK!

IT WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED THAT OUR MEMBERS WHO JOIN THIS THREAD USE THE EDIT FEATURE ON THEIR INITIAL ENTRY.
emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon
DOING SO WILL KEEP THIS THREAD MANAGEABLE AND ALSO MAKE IT EASIER TO TRACK EACH MEMBER'S DAILY PROGRESS.

An easy way to find your initial entry is to hold down the CTRL key and your F key. This will bring up your FIND box. Enter your SparkName and hit enter. This will take you to your first entry. Click on the EDIT MY POST button and add your steps for that day. Then just click on the POST MESSAGE button and you have edited your entry! If you have any questions/comments please send me a SparkMail. emoticon again!

A BIG THANKS TO ALL OF YOU THAT HAVE BEEN USING THE EDIT BUTTON WHEN YOU POST!!! I continue to be very impressed by your daily steps! emoticon

I love all the activity on this thread! Welcome to each and every one of you and I hope that you accomplish your goals this week. I WOULD LOVE TO GIVE A BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO JOINED THIS THREAD THIS PAST WEEK! We remained a stupendous 30 strong this past week!! That is the same as last last week! I continue to be amazed at your step counts, all of you should be very proud of yourselves! emoticon emoticon emoticon

We are still #1 in the Computer & Electronics category?! That continues to be amazing! As of the posting of this post, we are now at (drum roll please!) 105,101 members strong! That is 406 more than last week! That is a decrease of 13 members from last week!!! Amazingly, our numbers have continued to explode this past few weeks! Our numbers continue to increase week after week. I find this rather amazing but then I see all kinds of people that do not have a FitBit device so this number will continue to rise. It is simply amazing! We have poked our head past the 105,000 level and now have our sights set on the 106,000 mark!!! This team is truly amazing!!!
emoticon Holy moley!

emoticon Welcome to all of our new team members and thank you for joining our weekly steps goal!!!

I love my Charge 2 but I am having a difficult time letting go of my One. My Charge 2 consistently gives me higher step counts which I find kind of disconcerting. I recall that my biggest concern switching from a waist-based to a wrist-based tracker was that my step count would suffer. That has not been the case. In fact, I sometimes think that the wrist-based tracker provides me with an inflated amount of steps on a daily basis. I am not comfortable with this; thus, my reason for not letting go of my One. I continue to research my Charge 2 but until I feel comfortable with its data the One will stay with me, too.

I dealt with a head cold this week. It is so odd how you feel fine one day and the next day you feel absolutely miserable. I drank plenty of fluids and tried to keep active as best as I could. How do you handle sick days?

Here is a link for a blog that address this issue:

I am a strong believer that my better health is key to me being able to overcome these sick days quickly and efficiently. While I felt less that stellar I was able to continue going to work and getting some aerobic activity under my belt.

I would implore that all remember to keep yourself hydrated, especially if you live in a warmer climate. Your body needs to remain hydrated. Here are some links to articles that address the importance of keeping your body hydrated.
