week 9 and final entry for this challenge (12/31/13)
gained... A LOT...of weight and of knowledge.
I can see what I did to gain in these increments over the past 9 weeks and now it will take about 9 weeks to undo the damage.

Happy New Year everyone and may your new resolutions stick with ease!

Ah the holidays! What a blissfully busy and frenzied time of the year! We are already challenged with our dear Autistic children. Not to mention the rest of the family, and the frantic rush of this wondrous season. During this time of the year, we tend to neglect is ourselves and the hard work we put in during the year to lose weight easily goes by the wayside. We worked hard this year to lose weight.

CHALLENGE: Maintain your weight loss these next two months. I will send an award ribbon goodie the first week of January to everyone who maintains.

BONUS CHALLENGE: Lose any amount of weight (more than 1 lb), and I will send a trophy goodie the first week of January.

Personal CHALLENGE (optional): Give just 10 minutes of your day to devote completely to yourself. It doesn't have to be 10 minutes in a row.
1. Quiet time in prayer or meditation or simply silence.
2. Exercise.
3. Breathe (take some deep breaths).

You get the idea. And remember to drink your water.

On the first day of the challenge, check in on the board and say hello. You can record your start weight if you wish but it is not necessary.

Once a week (if your schedule allows), weigh in and then check in on the board. You can type MAINTAIN if your weight hasn't changed, UP if you gained some weight, and DOWN if you lost some weight.

We will succeed with each other's support!
