I try to workout at least 10 minutes every day. There are rare days I don't do it, but usually I can do some strength exercises instead of walking or hitting the gym.

once a week - end of October 2013 thru end of May 2014
daily - when transition to maintenance began June 2014

Krys, Thanks for posting the information regarding last week's question. A number of times over the past 5 months I have been prompted by Spark to take a look at my fitness goals because I was burning more than I was taking in. When prompted I would make adjustments (which resulted in increased calorie ranges each time) and do my best to continue to meet the nutrient intervals set. My trackers (nutrition & fitness) are set not to communicate. So, my nutrition intervals are established based on my current weight, weight loss and fitness goals.

emoticon New Question emoticon

How often do you weigh yourself?

Every day

A few times per week

Once a week

1-2 times a month

Never

emoticon Previous Question: (goodies coming)

The correct answer, according to Spark, is False.

Explanation
If your calorie deficit (the difference between how many calories you eat vs. how many you burn) becomes too large, your body will start cannibalizing muscle and organ tissue for fuel. There are a lot of "rules" that govern how your body uses energy. For example, your brain can't use stored fat for energy, and your muscles will only burn significant amounts of fat when they are working at medium intensity. So if you want to lose fat, you’ve got to play by your body’s rules: Aim to lose one-half and two pounds per week, through a combination of moderate calorie reduction and increased exercise. If you only have 10 pounds or less to lose, aim for the lower end of that range (one pound or less each week); if you have more than 50 to lose, you can aim for the high end (one to two pounds per week).

I exercise 3-4 days a week. It depends on if I wake up early on Saturday for Zumba. Once school gets out (in 12 days), I will workout 4-5 days a week.

During school, I never really could find the time to exercise. But with school out, I'm starting to walk/jog 2-3 times a week, working up from there. My hope is that I will get into a routine and continue that when school starts back up in the fall.
