Well I did half of it......
This was my second try [success written a few posts down from here in 6/2016]

I did my 5K my way... pushed through all the "can't do it because...heart stents, CHF, Pre-Diabetes, back re-construct and severe peripheral neuropathy nd growing arthritis" and gave it my best shot.
Knee and hip both gave out at half way mark and was thankful I was on the guarded treadmill setting so no fall - just stopped. Was making good time for me and feeling good and heart was doing great and lungs doing well but not ready to try it with one leg!! SO I did a" HALF 5K " = am proud and content but don't get the T-shirt. - - - Oh well, shirts are overrated !

I will leave the challenge after a week or so but always know I am interested in being a cheer leader at any time - just leave a note on my facebook page.

I did race day. I'm so plesasd with my own progress - I'm definitely fitter than at the start of this programme.

A few weeks ago I did 4 km and it took me 55 mins (bear in mind I only walk and can;t run)
Today I did the 5 km and I did it in just 45 mins.

Such a difference. I hope you all decide to do this programe too. It really works. My only problem is what do I do next?

Completed 6/18/16 I encourage every one who sets the goal to go for the gold and DO IT!!!

I'm going to leave this challenge now - but if you ever need an encourager - come to my SPARK page and leave a note and I will be there for you. God bless you with better health because of walking this way.

just finished my first 5k ever. took me 60 minutes and 33 seconds.
