I didn't actually run yesterday, but I walked around the park while my kids played sports. I had 16,000 steps (also holiday shopping). My feet and ankles have been hurting but not when I walk or jog. :(

My Week 1 is in the books too. Today I get to rest.

I've been wanting to mark that I completed my workout, but the only way it lets me is if I specifically get to it through the email. I have completed each day's workout and logged them in the app, but do you know how I could mark that I completed a day's challenge workout...without having to go through the email?

Tonight (my first day) - 1.5 mi., 25 minutes. Added an extra 2 minutes jogging at the end, which made it 27 minutes. Then 5 minutes cool-down, for a total of 1.85 mi. in 32 minutes.

ETA: all done on treadmill.

Yesterday, reached up to 69 degrees... a very warm sunny day for the end of March! I took advantage of this warm Easter day by doing 4 minutes of walking with my family and jogging for one minute for my first day of this challenge. I am a pretty slow walker compared to my DD and DH, so even though, I got ahead of them while jogging, they caught up with me while I was walking.

Hi Everyone. Well, today is my first day of week one. I am in foreign territory with 30 pounds to lose. I'm nervous and upbeat as my walking program was a great fit/start for me. We've got the next 5 weeks together!!!

I am pretty up-beat about the program, but also scared. I don't know if I'll find a 5 K in my area or do the virtual 5 k since then.

Got on treadmill today. Did 60 minutes, with 4 1-minute jogging blasts. The jogging wasn't too heavy or intense. I did get tired earlier. But, made m ore kilometers. Hope Hope Hope

Cross train day. Planned on using the exercise bike but it was such a beautiful winter day my husband and I did a 30 minute walk outside. A little over 2km, a lot of uphill + maintained conversation without getting winded. We're making progress emoticon emoticon

Finished Week 1 Day 1!
I found that the 4/1 program isn't quite enough for me but I'm definitely not a runner just yet either so I'm trying to create my own training program. This week, I'm going to do a 1.5/.5 interval instead. It went well, but my shins are killing me! I might have to scale that back more to start out.

I finished Week 1 and am ready for week 2. There is Canada Day coming up,& a ton of commitments. I will probably manage two sessions this coming week. Having fun.

Today was my very first day. I was nervous about getting all 4 minutes of jogging done (I haven't jogged since I was 9!) but I did it! I also found out that a lot of songs on my "walking" playlist that I made couple of years ago are actually 5 minute songs :D How cool is that? So, Day 1 of Week 1 down with 2 more to go :)

Did week 1 day 2 last night after a workout with a trainer last night. Probably not ideal but I survived. Day 3 may not happen until Saturday. Too many evening commitments.

Just completed the first session. It was much better than when originally started the program at the beginning of the month. I was able to do a minute at 5.0 and stayed at an acceptable heart rate. That week off seems to have helped.

Starting over after a weeklong hiatus. We'll see if I can actually complete the program this time.

Finished week 1 tonight. I'm not sure that I can jog more than a minute. When I finished the last rep my heartbeat was 151. That's an improvement over the first 2 sessions but it still seems high given my age. Then again it dropped to 120 during each 4 minute walk. It will be interesting to see how week 2 goes.

Did the second workout tonight. Kept going after the 5th rep because my heart rate was lower than it was during the 1st session. Managed to do 5k in 44:03. By that time my HR reached the previous session's high. Wrapped it up by walking until 62:00 and reached 4.26 miles.

Just finished week 1 - not sure I am ready to move on to week 2. My knees ache quite a bit. Going to give it a shot!

I've completed two days - it was a busy week. Can I do my third day before moving on to Week 2? I don't feel like I'm ready yet.
Second question: I have a Spark Tracker on my shoe. So when I log in here, I get double entries in My Fitness page. I'm deleting the Program entry. Is that okay?
