I am going to do my race on the 25th of April, which is ANZAC Day over here. Today I just did a practice jog/run but only did 3.7km as I have a cold so didn't think I could do my longer route. I did it in 33.45 minutes which I am happy with. Being Autumn over here in Australia it is a bit cooler so is great for running but one thing you need to remember (which I forgot today) is always take water with you it is very important.
I got halfway on my run when it started to rain emoticon , but is was a nice rain to run in not windy or cold just rain that came straight down. By the time I got home I looked like a drowned rat, but I really enjoyed it and I felt better for it. I made sure I had a nice warm shower straightaway as I didn't want my cold to get worse.
For my run I am going to get my son to make me a folder in my player for jogging, I find having more upbeat music helps me walk and jog faster and it is really motivating.
So next time you here from me I will have completed my race and hopefully post a great time.
