I did day 2 yesterday in the cool of an overcast morning. Because I'd had 2 days rest, my legs felt really good before, during, and after. Tomorrow, weather permitting, I will do the virtual 5k. I'm hoping to do it in under 50 minutes.

This is the first day I actually feel shin splints....
I changed the pace of my run to go faster and it hurt less.
I am so looking forward to say I did it

Race Day in 2 days
woohoo!

Agreed. I've had to postpone mine by a couple days because of a sunburn. I got a sunburn last week and on Monday I started day 1 of week 5. I felt amazing and the time flew by. However, when I was done I noticed what looked like beads of sweat on my arm over my sunburn. Turns out that when you're burned pretty bad the sweat gets trapped and creates these water blisters. Yikes. So, I was supposed to do day 2 Wednesday but postponed. I've peeled a lot, but it is still pretty bad. I think I'm going to go ahead and do day 2 tonight though cause I've been anxious to finish.

5K walk/jog training
3,988 Steps 2.24 Miles 255 Calories Burned.

Finally got this done being I have been sick.
