So I finally did it this last week. I finally ran a full mile. I don't remember it ever being this hard. I guess you never realize how how out shape you are until you try to get back into shape. Depressing . . . Yes but yet I did it. And that feels great. Have not lost any weight and that's depressing . . . But I ran a mile and that feels great. That's what I have to hang on to, that great feeling because it's what keeps me going, it makes the depressing things not so depressing. So next time it will be 2 miles. It might take me another month but with each little bit over 1 mile I get, the closer I get to 2 miles and eventually I will get there. And maybe that great feeling will be accompanied by some weight loss and maybe it won't feel as hard but nonetheless I know that when I reach 2 miles it will feel great.
