Y'all are doing it!

When you start to change it up on a treadmill, there's no doubt it becomes a better training tool AND mixes it up for your muscles. Your body actually embraces the workout! Outstanding!

Agree, very interesting article. I love running with incline for the first 15 minutes. Then I decrease for the last 15 and run faster. But I was never sure if this was helpful or not; I just did it for the challenge.

Thank again for the post!

Hi All - I am a newer runner (more of a jogger) and am currently running a pace of 4.1 at a 0% incline on my treadmill. I'd like to increase my speed. Am I better off slowly increasing my pace (4.2 for a week then up to 4.3 and so on) or am I better off increasing my incline (0.5% or 1% each week)? Also - is a weekly increase too quick (I run 3x's per week).

I appreciate any guidance - thank you!
