You mentioned protein but how are you doing with carbs and fats. Complex carbs are full of fiber to keep you full longer. You need the right balance of carbs, protein and fats to feel satisfied and lose weight. Do you have a dietician you could talk to. That might help. Try not to get discouraged. You can do this!

I'm drinking plenty of water (20 oz at a time, upwards of 6 a day). And I'm eating based on SP's suggested meal plans. 15-20 grams of protein per meal and 8-10 per snack. I'm not really sure what I should be eating so I'm going by SPs expertise.

My question is first are you thirsty? Drink lots of water.

If that is not the problem then my next question is are you getting enough protein? If that is not it then I would say just eat some extra vegetables to help you feel full. Vegetables and occasional fruits can add nutrients and satisfaction without too many extra calories.

I don't think you should be this hungry but everyone is different. Have you tried having a big cup of tea or a glass of water when you feel hungry? The other questions is are you eating at the top of your range and eating complex carbs that take longer to digest? I very rarely get hungry in fact I often feel full.
It might just be that your body is re-adjusting to your new way of eating. Maybe you need more frequent snacks.
Hang in there and you will figure it out. Hopefully other people will have suggestions. As well.

Last week I started following SP's suggested meal plans for my daily meals and snacks and have been sticking pretty darn close to them. I've noticed that while I feel satisfied with my meals, I have been feeling 'hungry' after anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour. I know it takes a while for my brain to realize I've eaten so I'm wondering if this is something else and I'm just mistaking it for hunger. Maybe digestion? Any ideas?

Today its ridiculous and I feel like I'm starving. I ate a decent breakfast but was so hungry when I got to work that I ate my morning snack right away. Now, 2 hours later, I'm starving again so I ate my afternoon snack. I'm stuck with a late lunch today so I don't think I'll need it this afternoon, but I'm just trying to understand what's going on.
