I read several things online about this and the estimates vary from 400 to 700 calories per session. I know Circuit training (controlled lifting with cardio sessions to keep your heart rate up) calculates at between 7 and 15 calories per minute for a 200 pound female.

You could track Body Pump in your cardio section as "circuit training" and see how you feel about the number.

If you have a heart rate monitor that gives estimates of burn, or a Fitbit -- go with that estimate, it will be more accurate.

Body Pump is more about strength training and building metabolism than high burn; so you are getting a lot of bang for your buck!

I just did a Body Pump class at the gym today, which is all over body weight lifting to music, and I don't know how to enter it in my fitness tracker. I can't list all of the exercises that we did or the reps. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Angie
