I have talked to others with the Charge 3 that like it too. I am just disappointed in the Charge 2 durability (but don't want to go without my device) so I purchased the 3 year warranty extension from Amazon with my new device. I'm figuring out the settings today, quite a lot has changed in one generation of the device. For example, I got a notification that my friend called, I answered my iPhone, and while I was on the phone with him I cleared the notification of the "active call" on my watch--and it hung up the phone! Oops. I have a learning curve to master.

I like my Charge 3. No problems so far. Think I've had it about 8 - 12 months.

I'm wondering if the Charge 3 is any more durable than the Charge 2? I've had my Charge 2 for about 3 years and it no longer works. Well, the notifications for texts and phone calls still work, but it isn't counting my steps correctly. I examined the back of the watch and the plastic is roached, cracks all throughout the rear side. I don't work construction or anything, this is from normal, regular everyday use. I don't know when it stopped accurately tracking steps exactly, but for $120 I kind of expected better. Maybe a picture is worth a thousand words about fitbit quality in the longer run, if this pic is large enough to display the issue:

I love mine. But Fitbit did have to replace it after 8 months, there was a row of missing pixels. Such a great device to motivate me.

My has already lasted three years and Im thinking about upgrading to three because I can swim with it. Also this one is doing a poor job of measuring sleep.

I have the Alta HR but it won't sync. I have called fitbit support and we tried everything. They offered me 25% another fitbit, but why buy something that doesn't work after a very short time.

I am going from a fitbit one to a charge 3. I can't believe what a nice watch this is.
