I was a lot stronger years ago as well Cee, used to do weights and around the farm was used to lots of heavy lifting. Not so much these days, but the strength isn't too bad for an old fart.

I love walking, not running. I am trying to make peace with the water, so swimming is in there. LOVE weightlifting, but I have to get used to it again .. my former strength just ain't there! emoticon

Those blow up balls look downright dangerous to me, what happens when you bounce the wrong way, knowing me I'd bing off the stupid thing and bounce into the wall.

Definitely go to the docs for the wart, maybe he'll freeze it off for you.

Bought an exercise ball years ago, didn't help much, just taking up room, I should deflate it! Then bought a wii machine set it up and havn't turned it on since. Bought a stretch rope aparatus, now if it only came with some instruction! Got a planters wart on my foot probably picked up the virus at aqua-size classes. Thus walking has been limited. Going to doctor on Monday as it is getting worse. Self medication is not working.

I hate exercising. It is funny because once upon a time I was an activity junk. But nowadays I do it because I (think) have to. Why don't they come up with a pill for that?

I have a cardio twister at home and it's the one mechanical thing I like to work on. I must admit the past month since my Mum died have been go go go. I have been cleaning the house top to bottom, changing linens etc I have been so tired after the day has ended I must have done a good cardio.

I have a treadmill, mostly use it in the winter, when the roads are treacherous to walk on. It is sitting out on my shady deck covered up with a boot I made for it out fabric backed vinyl to keep the dust away.

I'm also not into jogging too much strain on my wonky ankles. I had to give up serious walking for ages when I got plantar faciitis, the pain was intense enough when I just got about the house. I've got to say I'm not fussed with going for ages on some machine, it just seems so boring, but I do a lot of lawn mowing and tons of stuff outside that raised the heart rate, now that I find fun.

I think the best way to approach exercise .... is to think of it, as physical movement, the more the better! I enjoy swimming and hate jogging. Walkings okay, one has to do that to get around anyway! Love to dance so that is my other form of physical movement.
