SEPTEMBER BUDDY SUPPORT GROUP (BSG) CHALLENGE!

It’s time to sign up for the SEPTEMBER BUDDY SUPPORT GROUP (BSG) CHALLENGE!

The challenge will run from TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 3 through MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 30 (with the last week's totals due on TUESDAY, OCTOBER 1).

Please sign up by SATURDAY, AUGUST 31; however, you can join later and will be placed on a team (typically the one with the least number of members).

NOTE: Sometimes things come up that prevent you from participating so, if after signing up or during the challenge you decide not to continue, send me, AMYBELLES, a Spark-Mail so that I can remove you from the list of challenge participants and also, as a courtesy to your team, please let them know as well.

The teams’ chat threads and challenge templates will be posted prior to the start of the challenge.

emoticon emoticon We have a monthly theme to the BSGs to help guide those new to this journey or remind those that have been on it for some time. These themes are some of the basic things we all should/need to do in order to let go of unwanted pounds and fat from our bodies. This will help us learn more about healthy lifestyle change as well as prompt discussion.

emoticon SEPTEMBER FOCUS: Break it out!!! Daily fitness challenge emoticon
emoticon MODIFY OR SWITCH OUT EXERCISES AS NEEDED!! LISTEN TO YOUR BODY!! emoticon

We will be using the following template (bonus points sections may be added some weeks). They will consist of the following:

PART 1 - Chat Room: 70 points possible
PART 2 - Fitness: 1 point per minute (MAXIMUM OF 200 POINTS PER DAY)
PART 3 - Health/Nutrition: Varies week to week - 100 POINTS for staying within calorie range/1 POINT per OUNCE of water you drink each day / 10 POINTS per each serving of fruits and/or vegetables / Give yourself 25 points for each meal that you weighed and measured your food.
PART 4 - Blog 200 points
PART 5 – Interact with BSG team participants: 10 points each (MAXIMUM OF 50 POINTS PER DAY)
BONUS A: Congratulate the winners from the previous week
BONUS B: Complete the Daily Fitness Challenge
BONUS C: Each day you get 10 points for each BSG team members blog you respond to
BONUS C: Have your points totaled by 8 pm (Central Time): 100 points
