i did more then the 1 training video for the upper and lower body day. the ab routines were a bit more challenging but i have some other 10 minute ab routines that i will add in each week. i finished all the videos without any problems

Finally, after two weeks into the new year I am ready to get back on track. I had lost 40 lbs then stopped doing what I was doing and gained it all back. It is time to lose it again! emoticon

Starts tomorrow morning.Walking only today!

Indian standard Time!Now 54 yrs old.Had a Sleeve Gastrectomy and like most of us who have had this survey-it is a welcome surgery and ,howeer a radical lifestyle change-in diet,exercise,evrything.Weight is down by 20 kilos.That is a whole new me but I need to lose a couple of 5 more kilose hopefully due to newly diagnosed psoriatic arthritis.Well here's to all of us ,everybody!I am on a new challenge that

I found this amazing video called "20 minute Fat Blaster" from Violet Zaki's Cardio Sculpt DVD.
It also has an eight minute warm up and I usually warm down on my own for an extra 5 minutes.

I used it for my first week as my cardio section, but I did do some extra walking and exercising.

Before I start week 2 I want to make sure that this Cardio-Sculpt Video CAN be used for my cardio session. Or else I have to find something else to do. Can anyone help??

Starting this off right with a new month. My goals for the month are to make sure I get at least 5,000 steps a day, and get at least 10,000 steps twice a week. I also have a goal to get at least 25 mins of exercise EVERYDAY. For the week, my goals are to drink at least 8 glasses of water everyday (I have been seriously lacking in this department). Plus, of course, to do the exercise videos everyday too :)

Did day 4 just a moment ago, I am thinking its better for me to try and get the daily strength workout done in the mornings. Cardio can always take place in the afternoon or evening during the work week. I've been doing the strength workouts after long day's of activity so my body is fatigued, but I don't think I am giving it my best efforts. Thinking I may do this upper body resistance band workout again later today. Ok, its gorgeous out with a breeze and sun so I am going for my cardio walk. Hope others are doing good if not great with this challenge.

Just did day 2 strength workout- this one is way different than the crunchless core challenge found on one of Coach Nicole's dvds. I liked the challenge with the pilate moves in this one. Cardio I think will be me on my treadmill doing intervals with increase/decrease of the inclines too!

Well, I just signed up to take on this challenge tonight. I had already did a 45 min. outdoor cardio walk earlier this afternoon, but after reviewing this 1st week's action steps decided I would take on Day 1 challenge. I was already on SP seeking out a short cardio or strength workout to add to my day. My current goal for fitness is to burn at least 2000 calories a week while I stay in my calorie range with tracking.

Do you guys feel like a person of habit? I do, that's why I like seeking out fitness and eating challenges to help me mix it up, stay accountable and hopefully see the scale go down or clothes feeling looser by breaking through the plateaus I always hit, land and stay on. I really like Coach Nicole and her workouts. She gives great cues and she's got a couple of kickboxing cardio workouts, which mixes it up and challenges you.

Can't wait to see what is up for tomorrow.

I joined the team last week, but didn't start until yesterday due to the Easter holiday and being out of town. I had to start my week with day 2, because I already have cardio built into my week Monday - Friday at the gym. It was that, or wait another week so I could start next Sunday, but I just didn't want to wait that long! Have 4 friends doing this with me and we are keeping each other accountable. :)

I have tried to do this week 1 now 3 times, I have finally completed it. I discovered my workout week needs to be Friday to Thursday. I work 4 - 10 hour days so by Thursday I am too tired to do a decent workout it makes a good rest day without feeling guilty. I also have plenty of time to do a 1 hour workout Friday - Sunday and a 1/2 hour Monday - Wednesday.

Week one went fine for me. Just had trouble with the Palates.
I don't have good balance and I have trouble holding the planks.
However, I made through the video alright. My goals are to:
1) Become better balance and become healthy(mind body soul and spirit)
2) Tone up my arms and legs. That will help since I am starting a new job.
(Will be doing a lot of lifting at Wal-Mart))
3) Long term would love to keep up with my boyfriend and family member and not feel winded. This one is getting much better. (Got more energy now since I started exercising). Hope you are all well. Have a good day and a great weekend! Holly

Yesterday was a day off and a great day to catch up with Day 1 and 2 of the challenge. I am hoping this will help me break through a plateau. Weather was nice and I took advantage by getting some extra steps in while shopping. Good luck everyone.
