I joined yesterday. I started doing the exercises and the cardio, but I will not start counting until May 1. I realized just how out of shape I have gotten over the winter.

Hi everybody! I'm going to get started on May 1st, and I'm really excited. I need some extra boost to get these last 10 pounds off!!! Plus I'm going on vaca to Mexico for a wedding, in the middle of May and I want to not only looking more toned and slim, but I want some accountability on keeping moving during my vaca. Can't wait to get started. Let's rock this!!!!

Hi y'all! I'm starting on May 1st. I'm using this challenge to kick up my efforts a notch. I'm ready to start adding strength training and some variety to my current fitness plan.

Nick, you might be surprised at how much exercise one can do while watching television :) If you know the workout, you can do body-weight, dumbell, or exercise band strength training while whating whatever - and with the DVR, you can go back if you miss something.

My goal for this Challenge is to add more exercise to my life so I can get out of this rut and begin loosing weight again. I've only been maintaining the last few weeks and need to get my momentum back up. I'm going to try to add ten minutes of exercise daily on top of my other exercise.

I'm using this challenge to get my little brother involved in exercise. He told me that he didn't want to go to the local water park this year. When I pushed him about why, he said his weight embarrassed him. So I'm going to get him out in the sunshine & get him moving!

My personal goals for this challenge is to:
1. Get a grip on my eating. Portion control is not my strong point.
2. Get more active. That might mean breaking-up with my DVR, but I think I'm strong enough.
3. Lose 8 lbs. That would put me in the 160s and, while it might not get me into a bikini, it will definitely make my one-piece fit better.

I started today.

In addition to the exercise challenge I am committed to tracking for the challenge. I have a tracking streak going and I want to maintain it. I joined the challenge to keep me from taking a day off of exercise.

We went to Italy last year. I gained a few pounds there and rather than deal with it right away I gained a couple more to keep them company. I've been trying to get back to my personal goal for a whole year now! I'd lose a couple then lose momentum. I've lost 3 pounds since I joined SP on April 1. If I can lose 4-5 pounds by Memorial Day I will be back to my "fighting weight" by our 36th anniversary.

The last 5 pounds are the killer. Not enough that anyone elsoe notices...but I do! This challenge is going to keep me on track.

I am on my fourth day and really enjoying the videos. I did the cardio kickboxing twice in a row and was nice and sweaty after!
I really want to jumpstart my weightloss this month. I had to change a medicine I was taking (peri-menopause) and gained aboout 10 or 15 lbs back in about a month. At this point I weigh more than I did when I started Spark!
I hope that this time I will follow through with the challenge and lose some dress sizes!

I just signed up for this today also, and I plan to start on May 1st, but I also can use any advice anyone can give me about tracking the videos, etc. I have been with Spark for years off and on, and this is my first challenge like this... hoping to get and stay on track this time! HELP!

This will be my 1st day. I'm not beginning May 1st because some days near the end of May I will not be able to do exercises. (At least I do not think I can. I won't have access to a video or computer, I know.) My goal is to lose some in my mid area and/or just above it. Lorraine

Hi everyone...i'm very excited about this challenge...i'm going back to the basics!!! Seriously i know what to do, but i keep quitting...NO MORE!!! I'm done quitting and i am begining to log food EVERY day as well as excercise and blogs every day... I know i can do this i'm tired of complaining about it almost every day so now is the time... LOL I have helped many friends reach their goal but for some reason i don't help myself...i stop or quit before i'm done...weather i dont' see any results or what i know i feel better when i eat right and workout so like i said... back to the basics....

It's been working so far i've had a very good couple of days although just joined this challege today...

Can't wait to meet some of you and make this lifestyle change together!!!

Starting Week 1 on May 1st. My goal is to get back to exercising regularly. I had been consistent for months until February and just stopped. So, I'm ready to get back in my routine and to add some toning. Toning has always been a weak point for me. I've also started my food tracking again!

I've lost 17 in about 4 months, which is great but I need to keep going and I have been slacking for the last few weeks. I graduate college this coming Friday and this month should be my FREE month, meaning no more internship and just studying for my certification exam and packing to move to Florida. That's right, FLORIDA meaning I NEED this bootcamp challenge, I feel great losing 17 but I want to lose 53 more!!

The goal is to actually complete the exercises everyday! and then some! right?! Also I need to make sure I keep recording my diet, because I do SOO much better when I do! :)

My goal is to begin exercising again. It has been a long time. My endocrinologist wants me to begin regular exercise to help control diabetes while working through medication changes. I need to lose over 100 pounds and hope this will get me started on the exercise track.

My goal is to get back on track. I have been kind of slacking since I hit my 100 lbs lost milestone. I have just been coasting, and while not moving backwards, I have not been moving forward either. I have decided that it is time to start moving forward again and this is a great way to jump start!

My goal...I have been training with a roller derby team for the past few months before I had surgery on my legs. The most important part of my physical activity (my legs). I had been on a roll until then. Now, I'm trying to get back in the saddle or to say. So, my ultimate goal for this challenge is to help me become a better performing athlete while building my confidence.

My goal is to look AWESOME in my new bikini on the beach Memorial Day weekend! I want to loose a little weight/body fat, and I want to gain some muscle. I'm looking forward to incorporating the videos into my daily workouts, because I know this little extra will definitely speed up my progress.

Did Day 3 video - 6-min hips, glutes and thigh workout. Did it in 6 minutes but only 5 reps per exercise, instead of 10 reps like in the video. Not feeling well because of period cramp but I still managed to complete the workout, just did everything slowly, hehe.

I have finally started breaking thru this plateau and I am currently back (2lbs) to where I was jan 09, which leaves me 50 lbs from my goal weight. Hoping this challenge shakes up current workout routine and helps get me even closer to me goals! AWESOME!

This will be my third day. I like the videos so far, my six year old has been having fun attempting them with me too! Yesterday I did a lot of gardening and was pretty psyched that it counts as cardio! I've been doing ok with tracking my food....except for that carrot cake I made for Easter....I guess I should just throw it away, I'm finding it nearly impossible to resist at the end of the day. emoticon

Day 2 and I have completed my 30-minutes cardio and the cruchless abs video. That was my first time for that video and it offers a nice variety versus boring old crunches! (and I bet I'll feel it tomorrow!)

I think these three days have been practice (Thurs, Fri, Sat) and that I'll start Day 1, Week 1 on Sunday May 1 with everyone else.

This morning I completed the video for day 2, that was tough!, and completed 30 minutes of cardio. I have got to stop weighing myself. I get so distraught and defeated when the scale isn't budging. I am going to challenge myself to not weigh until the Bootcamp Challenge is over! Lets see if I can resist the lure to weigh.

ok got 20 minutes of light cardio in this morning and am totally on track to do at least 1 toning video tonight. I had to do the light cardio because my race is on Sunday and I am supposed to be in rest period until them. I'm thinking about sneaking in a cardio kick boxing video tonight too tho depending on my darling baby girl and her sleeping patterns lol
