Thanks for your opinions, i really appreciate it. I am going to stick with just being in my calorie range like many of you said. I do find it harder to meet my protein, I am normally under and staying in my fat range, I am normally over. I guess as long as i am not too over or under i am doing good.

I was told by my nutritionalist that if you go between the ranges of 1200 and 1500, it helps to avoid a plateau or if you are on a plateau, this helps to get it started going again. So if it is working for you, don't worry about it, just keep doing it.

My suggestion would be to stay in the range and not to worry about the fluctuation as long as you are in the range...the most important thing is to make sure you are getting enough protein. In my opinion, Spark has their protein recommendation too low, so make sure that you are getting toward the upper end of your protein range. Personally I keep my calories in my range, but I make sure that I'm getting at least 1 gm of protein per pound of body weight. There are a lot of different things you can do with your intake that can help jumpstart your metabolism and keep it burning all day, and keep the fat melting off.

Strong is what you have left when you've used up all your weak.

I try to stay in range, some days I am close to the high, some days I am lucky to hit the low. It is hard enough, at least for me, to track my calorie intake at all, if I tried to stay consistent with calorie range I would probably stop tracking all together.

I just try to stay in range. I'm in the same range as you and with the warm weather setting in I have strangely found that I am not getting enough calories if I don't watch it! Even days I feel like I have ate a ton, it's crazy. I agree with the other post though, I think it is best to keep your body guessing a little. I like the idea of eating more on workout days and less on rest days but, right now I am trying to workout quite a bit every day. It keeps me from feeling down about it if I can't workout one day due to a migraine or something.

As long as you're staying with the range it doesn't really matter. In fact, I believe that it's better to fluctuate within that range since it always keeps your body guessing. If you eat the same amount of calories everyday you might hit a plateau. Personally I eat more on workout days and less on rest days. Therefore my calories naturally bounce around.

So I have a question for you all and I hope you could help me. I have been tracking my food everyday last week and one of my goals is to stay in my calorie range but near the same amount everyday. My calorie range is between 1200 and 1550. I don't want to be near 1200 one day then the next i am closer to 1550 and keep bouncing throughout. So I was wondering are any of you try to stay near the same amount everyday and if so what or as long as it between who cares. What is your opinion?
