...and then there is me with a totally superficial motivation *L0L* I'm going to the UK next summer and I want to look gorgeous, as well as be able to bike or hike around the area for sightseeing.

To be honest, my main motivation to exercise is exercise itself. I love the feeling I get after I run, or after a good dance class. The mind gets cleared and you feel tired yet lighter, like you have sweated your problems away.
I feel motivated because if I don't exercise my back starts to hurt. The more exercise I do, the best my back feels.

My motivation is to get pregnant, be around for my kids and see my grandchildren grow up. Another motivation is my health. I want to be healthy and not worry about taking tons of medications each morning.

What fuels your urge to exercise? Is it to increase health and wellness? Or is it based on shame and negative feelings about your weight or appearance?

Please feel free to share what motivates you.
