Welcome to the challenge!

Yeah, my sit & reach test is not pretty! I just put my feet against my coffee table leg and reach on either side of it. Then I try to keep a finger on the spot as I get up so I can measure from the leg to my finger. If you don't have a ruler you can just guesstimate it...

Awesome! I'll start with the fitness challenge! :)

(I hate starting mid-week so these are for next week starting Monday 7.30.12)

Mile Walk/Run Time: 20 minutes (I've only been walking)
Sit-ups: 35
Sit and reach: I don't really have a way to measure this at home. Have any ideas?
Push-ups: 5 (I suck at them lol)

Record your baseline values, and then check in weekly/monthly with your updated (and hopefully better!) stats.

If you can't do any of the fitness, don't worry about it. Just tailor it to what you are able to do and then use that as your baseline for your check-ins. For example, if you can only walk to the mailbox, then your goal can either be to walk to the mailbox in less time and/or walking farther than the mailbox in the same amount of time! And feel free to pick and choose which food goals to do.

I will gather everyone's stats and post the whole list periodically to keep us on track and accountable. We can even look at % improvements to keep "score" and have a leader board! You can either do the food challenge, fitness challenge or both.
