I am over joyed that in August I lost 8 pounds. I was happy to look forward to a 2-4 pound weight loss! I was wishing and hoping for a 4-6 pound lose and here it is 8 pounds! I will not expect this kind of loss every month, but it sure would be nice .
Thanks Judy for starting this monthly set your own goal topic. I'm sorry that you have not had as good luck. Now to move on to the Sept goal that I have set for myself!

Okay, last Wed. was the end of the Challenge and I tracked until Sat and didn't even finish Sat. because I didn't follow throught with my plan to take my own food to the Party. So I wasn't sure what I would end up eating.

I ate better than planned. They had some iceburg lettuce and a slice of tomate and a slice of american cheese and a cold hamburger! That was all that I could find on my food plan.

So I have to get back to tracking everything and keep the momentum going forward.
In Aug so far I have lost 6 pounds ! WooHoo !

My August Goal: Continue with the Diabetes Challenge here on SP
Why, due to the fact that when I'm doing the challenge I feel the need to workout and to eat right. This challenge runs for 8 weeks and I'm coming up on the 8th week in two days. So it will end most of the gals will not stick around and I will be starting over looking for that so needed support from another groups of people.

I'd also like to say that I will have lost another 2 pounds come the end of the month. I'm a very slow loser and don't want to set the high goal of 4-6 pounds which is my dream goal.

My August Goal:
I will lose 5 lbs
Why this is important to me: I'll be turning 50 (YIKES!)
in November and I intend to be 20 lbs lighter by my birthday
A 5 lb loss will help my clothes fit better, ease the pain of my carpal tunnel
and boost my self esteem to push me toward Sept goal.
